I gotta say that the bulls that you guys pass would never be passed by me. Its amazing that you guys can pass those elk. I’ve never shot an elk in 6 years of hunting but try to every fall
“So your saying I got a chance” ;) patience is so hard to not just learn but implement in the moment. Great educational video and yeah very small % of us would of waited for this scenario to play out to the 3yds shot. 4K quality just to keep us all pumped for opening day, Keeping it Gritty Boys!!!!!
I'm disappointed in Lampers. I figured at that distance he'd just take the arrow off it's rest and spear the elk! 🤣 As always, great video. Can't wait until September to get back on the mountain! Hopefully with that sweet prize package. ;)
Unreal. Not many people get the opportunity to pass on a 10yd shot to then get a 4yd shot on a different bull later. Patience at it's highest level. Beutiful bull Ryan. Congrats!
As always.. 10 out of 10. “Ice man” lampers put it on another one! Y’all continue to make hard things look so easy. Thanks for the awesome videos. Y’all are #1 in my book.
Great patience Ryan. Most of us would of let one fly when it was quartered to you by mistake. You never think they are going literally run over you with the thermals and all. Well played
Loved the breakdown of the shot, especially with the freeze frame of exactly where the arrow hits the bull. When I started out elk hunting, the frontal and quartering-toward shots were highly discouraged, so it's cool to see that they are effective shots that can be taken.
Thank you Andrew. Did you know, the target area of a frontal shot on an elk is about the size of a whitetail doe broadside? Nobody thinks twice about taking a shot on a whitetail doe even though the target is about the same size. If you understand the anatomy of an elk, you can make an ethical and efficient shot just as easily as taking a doe. Glad you like the breakdown. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts in our comment section. 🙏🏼😊
These are my favorite videos and I love the music you add to them, that ending at 18 minutes with lost dogs playing and bugles over it, really makes me ready to be in the elk woods again. Ya’ll are awesome!
Right through the aorta, judging by the cut. And lungs which never hurts, but he was out of blood in seconds. That's as perfect a shot as it gets. Well done Ryan!
Just when you think Lampers is at the top of his game he climbs even farther up the totem pole. Super cool hunt. Really looking forward to the longer film bear hunt. Best hunts on UA-cam by far!
I love the Bear films but this Elk film was epic. Both in-counters were unreal. Well done with the cameras boys, keep up the good work. Got me pumped for the upcoming season.
The pressure is on to keep these Gritty Sunday clips going. They are the best! It’s a family event that we come together and watch every week. Congrats again guys on a nice bull.
I love how you break down the full frontal. Definitely a more cautious angle but at 4 yds and understanding the anatomy of an elk and preparation - I would send it all day long. I appreciate the explanation and definitely agree, a very ethical and quick kill if prepared. Fun to see you team up with Cody, a great guy that knows a thing or two about hunting. Thanks for the timing, one month away and it is go time!
Ryan operates on another level. Love the dialogue at the start of the pack out, lol Also really enjoy Brian and Brad’s insight at the end of the film! Awesome episode!
You guys motivate the hell out of me to always try and make the right calls and be a ethical hunter. Y’all are by far my favorite hunting show I’ve learned so much from guys! Keep up the good work !
Lampers ups the ante on every single hunt. Wow that bull was CLOSE! Great shot breakdown and info on things to consider while in the field. Thx again GRITTY!
I don't think there is anything more exciting than getting a game animal into close proximity like that. Good job keeping the adrenalin under control Ryan!
That was intense! Talk about patience! Serious knowledge with reading the animal, sweet shot, awesome hunt, another great memory made. Congrats! Another great informative video. Thank you guys!
I can’t image a huge bull at that range without wetting myself. I would have been scared to death. I have always wondered about taking a frontal shot on an elk with a bow, and now I know. Ryan, great bull. Congratulations. You're the man. Thanks for sharing.
Man this was good. Short but good. My wife couldn’t believe how close the elk came in. She said “how is he so calm?” And I said “because he’s lampers” lol
Wow. Another great film Love how you guys turned the film into a lesson book, breaking down some great points on what to do and not do. Keep up these kind of films and breakdown of the hunt.
That bull shot was awesome. Ryan was EXTREMELY lucky the bull chose that path directly at him AND Ryan had the experience to hold it all together. I reckon I would've taken the 37ft shot earlier - with my rifle. Great stuff guys - you hunt the steepest holes and get results.
hooraaah!!! what a shot!!! sir ryan you are a true stealthy!!!
Another top notch no bs film!
Quarting shots are always always tough,,,go with your gut!!!!!KEEP ON KEEPING ON!!!!!! Love this stuff!!!!!!
💯🤘🏼
Hands down the best!
Freeeeek that was close. Ryan... has nerves of steel and executed perfectly! Congrats!!!
Best video's and characters around! The Stealthy Hunter CBD is what keeps the calm, the arrows to fly true, and joints painless. Great Bull Ryan!
Good looking bull right in your lap. Great shot.
All Lampers senses were engaged durning that hunt, bet that rutty bull had a stank to him that close haha. Great hunt fellas!!
LAMPERS! Once again, sthealthyman nearly has a beautiful bull nearly walk right over him. Perfect shot. Too Much Fun!
Wow!! STHEALTHY HUNTER has ice in his veins when it comes to nerves. What a shot! I didn’t even see when he drew his bow. Awesome!!
💯
I gotta say that the bulls that you guys pass would never be passed by me. Its amazing that you guys can pass those elk. I’ve never shot an elk in 6 years of hunting but try to every fall
That was a death march before a death run for that bull! That was awesome!!
Was really enjoying the content. But when that Benjamin Tod song hit...I absolutely knew I was in the right place. Great video!!
46 years of hunting deer and elk, and I am still learning new stuff. Wait 2 seconds, I like that. Keep the tips flowing.
🤘🏼
Seriously addicted to these films 🎥 highest quality audio, video and hunter mentality. #staygritty
🤘🏼

Next time! I too expect something more manly out of Ryan... hand to hand combat would've been far more impressive.
What a great example of patience, and a great shot!!
Keep the films coming!!
Great job! Stay Gritty!!
Awesome hunt boyz. Gettin em up close and personal. The frontal is deadly if you do it right.
Frontal shot is intense, it is always so cool to see the damage a broadhead takes on an elk.
Unreal. Not many people get the opportunity to pass on a 10yd shot to then get a 4yd shot on a different bull later. Patience at it's highest level. Beutiful bull Ryan. Congrats!
Thanks for slowing that shot down with the placement, very educational!
CBD. Every Hunter over 34 should have it in their bag. Game changer
That, was, EPIC! I love encounters like that, nothing beats a bull elk coming that close. So awesome. Congrats Ryan!
As always.. 10 out of 10.
“Ice man” lampers put it on another one!
Y’all continue to make hard things look so easy. Thanks for the awesome videos. Y’all are #1 in my book.

Wow what a hunt and an absolutely awesome shot ! Bull down!
These are my favorite videos and I love the music you add to them, that ending at 18 minutes with lost dogs playing and bugles over it, really makes me ready to be in the elk woods again. Ya’ll are awesome!
What a bull! I feel like I would miss when it's that close!!!
Wow, great elk hunt. Lampers is what all hunters should strive to be. A true western artist.
I’ve got a Kentucky bull elk tag. Watching you guys gets me fired up.
Awesome seeing those frontal shots. Such a cool film!
If it gets any better than a shooter bull elk at point blank range it will have to have something to do with heaven. Totally AWESOME episode!
Holy shit lampers!!! You didn't even need a bow, you could a just stabbed the damn bull with an arrow 😂😂🤘🤘💪💪🇺🇲🇺🇲
Right through the aorta, judging by the cut. And lungs which never hurts, but he was out of blood in seconds. That's as perfect a shot as it gets. Well done Ryan!
I was waiting for him to tell the elk to back up! Great hunt guys.
I can't wait for September! Thanks for the film!
Come on September! Great video as always guys! Frontals are the coolest.
Gritty crew=Professionals! Thanks for sharing guys.
You guys are killing the videos. Love it!
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
when producers produce we all win. Thanks for the awesome film. Gonna fire that one up a few times today!! So good.
No doubt! Thanks for watching Ken!
Ryan’s shot is crazy!! I am amazed he can get a bull elk that close! Beautiful film per usual. Thank you for all your time and effort.
Awesome shot from Ryan, i've always been scared of that frontal shot but he nailed it!
That would be the most heart pounding experience I think an elk hunter could have. . .4 yard frontal. Awesome!!
Just when you think Lampers is at the top of his game he climbs even farther up the totem pole. Super cool hunt. Really looking forward to the longer film bear hunt. Best hunts on UA-cam by far!
"All pins worked that close" 😆
I'm pumped for season to start!
That patience in waiting for just the right shot! 👀 Amazing!
4 yards... what a Dream! As always, fun to watch guys. Can't wait for next weeks episode!
Love the Films you put out! Best balance between action and education.

Great hunt and perfect timing, with the season right around the corner. You guys always knock it out of the park!!
Love watching your adventures! For a guy who lives back East (Ohio). It keeps me hungry! Keep up the hard work! Much appreciated.

Wow. What a shot Ryan!!! Great video, and the breakdown by Brian and Brad afterwards is great. Thanks gents.
Some awesome encounters!! What an amazing animal.
Love close up encounters with bulls. Theres nothing better! Excellent camera work as always. Got me jacked for September.
Amazing! Wow! I bet his heart was pounding when that bull came in so close!!
This is a great lesson on drawing when you have a chance and waiting for the right moment. Also not calling if you don’t have too.
“Patience kills the bull.” Great Hunt Ryan! Thanks guys for the detailed discussion after going through every detail that Ryan did right.
That. Was. Awesome. Congrats Ryan and great filming Gritty!
Ryan operates on another level. Love the dialogue at the start of the pack out, lol
Also really enjoy Brian and Brad’s insight at the end of the film! Awesome episode!
Ha ha! Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks Shaun!
Amazing patience, to not let that arrow fly earlier. Awesome video.
You guys motivate the hell out of me to always try and make the right calls and be a ethical hunter. Y’all are by far my favorite hunting show I’ve learned so much from guys! Keep up the good work !

Sweet kill sequence! Lampers delivers as always. What a killer. Thanks for the video! My favorite Sunday night activity LOL!
Probably one of the SICKEST shots I've ever seen!!!
Well done. Experience is the best practice, Ryan stays so calm when most of us would lose it.
💯
Lampers ups the ante on every single hunt. Wow that bull was CLOSE! Great shot breakdown and info on things to consider while in the field. Thx again GRITTY!
Absolutely unreal. My heart was pumping and I was just on the couch! 🤣
Second favorite Gritty film!! I loved watching this one. And, yes, I probably would have shot after the first pause and look.
I don't think there is anything more exciting than getting a game animal into close proximity like that. Good job keeping the adrenalin under control Ryan!
I love seeing that frontal shot. At close distances it’s such a capable shot. WOW what an adrenaline rush!!
Great hunt fellas! Nice shot! This is is on my bucket list!! Thanks
The famous Ryan Lampers patience strikes again. Such a solid film. Keep 'em coming!
Such a rad hunt! Nothing is better than calling in an elk to 4 yards!
A hunters dream is that shot right there. Awesome job keeping steady and breathing under control. Beautiful country & bull!
So many things could go wrong! But, Ryan rarely screws up opportunities. It’s a beautiful thing.
That was intense! Talk about patience! Serious knowledge with reading the animal, sweet shot, awesome hunt, another great memory made. Congrats! Another great informative video. Thank you guys!
Thank you! 🙏🏼

Another Awesome hunt on video from the Gritty crew. Can’t wait for the new bear video. Fall opener is in 30 days
I can’t image a huge bull at that range without wetting myself. I would have been scared to death. I have always wondered about taking a frontal shot on an elk with a bow, and now I know. Ryan, great bull. Congratulations. You're the man. Thanks for sharing.

Really cold blood for Ryan... A real pro hunter never hesitation or mistake....top
Also really like how you explained all the details with that elk coming in and reading his body language !
Those are the moments that you will never forget! Awesome hunt! Getting me fired up for September!
Sunday has to be my favorite day because of your videos. This one was top notch!
Wow. Another great film Love how you guys turned the film into a lesson book, breaking down some great points on what to do and not do. Keep up these kind of films and breakdown of the hunt.
Thank you Mike! Glad you find the information helpful!
It almost makes me want to become a sliverflicker 😝
I love how close that was, and how Ryan was so chill! He's not human.
Monday at work suck, unless you have enough to time watch another great video bye you guys. All Monday’s should be like this.
What an epic film. Deep in it with hard core, crusty rutting bulls. Always hitting hard. Pun intended.
Up close and personal! Such cool footage. Lampers is the man.
Are you kidding!!
