Very fascinating. I think that most people just think that disaster relief/recovery just sort of "happens" (which is a high compliment when execution appears that smooth) without a full appreciation of what goes into such an operation. Thank you for this great video!
This is a really nice ‘behind the scenes’ look at how all the operations work! Stephen you are doing a great job with your reporting. Seems you like Dr Pepper 🤣.Keep up the fabulous work. I appreciate the interviews with the crew as well. I’m working my way backwards. Great guys - hard working teams. It’s a pleasant and informative break from hearing about all the devastation. I like logistics and how all the parts come together for completion of getting services restored. I subscribed and giving thumbs up to the videos I’ve watched so far.
Stephen, maybe you were having trouble completing a sentence (shown at the end) is a Dr. Pepper overdose. 😂 But seriously, this was an interesting and well-done video.
That’s a great question …. Because we could certainly add an extrusion type machine (shaved or pellet) that doesn’t use anymore water than the ice it makes … however our water tanks while clean and sanitized we don’t drink that water … and we need need the refrigeration space anyway …. But yes we did consider the ice machine route. ….thanks for watching
Yes sir -- nice pickup -- we typical stage on the edge of the event so that we can get access to water and sewer that is still functional -- great observation -- thanks for watching

Very detailed and in depth reporting!!! Love the peek behind the scenes on how your operation works! Thanks Stephen!

Thanks for your comment. I appreciate your recognition of all the hard work that goes into the preparation.

We could have used you guys at Rockport Texas in 2017 when we almost got wiped off the map by hurricane Harvey!!
We deployed gear and fuel for that storm.
Just wondering why you have a cold room instead of an ice machine?
