Was married in Nei Mongol in 2007 and have visited many times since then. We just spent 6 weeks travelling in Nei Mongol with my wife. Love the very hospitable, friendly people and especially the culture and traditions. Incredible scenery and wildlife, I would recommend anyone to visit the area. I'm a huge fan of the throat singing or Tuvan. I'm in the process of posting a few videos from our trip to my channel.

Is South Africa a part of United Kingdom because the British conquered it? Tibet and Southern Mongolia were independent nations/kingdoms for thousands of years. Just because China conquered it recently doesn't mean it is historical Chinese land.

    Malaysian here,
From all that I've known, Mongolia/Outer Mongolia has adopted the Slavic Cyrillic writing system in their language; While some friends from China telling me that inner Mongolia is still using the traditional Mongolian script in their writing. However, fewer and fewer young Mongolians recognize the language anymore and prefer to speak Mandarin Chinese instead due to assimilation pressure and career opportunities.
I've taken an interest in Mongolian culture after hearing their renowned throat singing from a Mongolian band - The Hu, and decided to visit Mongolia territory one day to experience the culture. But one question remains for me, which part of Mongolia retains the most authentic Mongolian culture?

    • @namiraagloria6909

Wow, you asked me the hardest question. I haven’t been to Mongolia, I was planning to go there for my graduation trip around June. But because of the outbreak I couldn’t go. So I can’t give you the answer. In my point of view, the whole Mongolia remains the authentic culture, I don’t know. Sorry. If I go there before you, I would give you the answer!

@@namiraagloria6909 The way I see it, Mongolia and Inner Mongolia are just different parts of Mongolian land that has different governing body. Sort of like North and South Korea. The North adopted the Slavic culture while the South assimilated the Chinese culture. Like how some China-born North Koreans address themselves as Chinese nationals even though they know they are obviously the chou-sen tribe in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture.
