The “it should be the status quo” argument only demonstrates a lack of understanding of basic phycology. Being animals, our behavior is reenforced and conditioned with feedback. If we get no feedback, nothing changes. But if lara gets a trip to her favorite ice cream place if her weekly chores and behavior chart are done correctly, then behavior starts to change.
