@@TheFisher keep a big bag of cheap non-clumping cat litter in your truck. Put some in front of each tire, right up against it, so you get some traction. Or they do have traction mats or boards but you have to stop and go back for them. The cat litter you just leave behind and keep moving.

Hello Tyler, A retiree like me grew up with this scrap in the 1950's. The toothed plated is an internal combustion engine flywheel designed to smooth out engine rotation. The lamp thing is a differential gear designed to apply torque to both rear pickup truck drive wheels. Many cast iron decorative pieces date from the 1900's when cast iron was used as plastic. Thanks for cleaning up the upper midwest waterways.

The first heavy piece is a flywheel, the other piece @12:10 is a carrier for a rear differential. Both auto or truck related.
I like watching the mag fishing from the boat as it seems that bigger stuff is out deeper. Very cool finds.

The gear you pulled up time 11:50 is a car part called a 3rd member. Its what makes your wheels spin from the transmission.

I do a fair bit of fishing like this, and the worst bit is the wind. Plus the hands getting wet.
That piece with 2 bends, a hole in 1 end and pointy at the other is obviously a large pirate's earring! I would guess that a very large pearl dangled from the hole 😉

12:00 it's a ring gear for a rear-end of a car. It's found in the hub of the rear-end!

I would like to suggest that you might like to make some kind of cover to put over that battery before something bad happens, like getting to much water dumped on it, or a piece of metal falling over the terminals. That round thing with the square base looks like someone’s homemade anchor. That piece of train track would be a great anvil lol.
One of the first things you found with a hole in it is used to join two chains. You would hammer the end into the hole. The big round piece with teeth is a flywheel to a car engine. It mounts to the engine and the clutch mounts to the flyweel. The odd thing you said looks like a lantern looks lie a differential, the gears that are in the back end assembly for the wheels of a vehicle.
All those gears probably go to the bridge since you said it opens and welding rods. Anchors away! 😄

The item with flat bottom and possible concrete is probably a homemade anchor.

You're crazy!!! Magnet fishing in a blizzard! Some good finds, I;m glad it was worth it for you.
Great show! two "Stockless" anchors(anchor w/wings) and one "Mushroom anchor(round w/cut out sections).
Don't overlook that hunk of railroad track while you're enjoying those anchors! That's some great steel there, and blacksmiths, knife makes, and others love that stuff! Can make anvils and many other useful items from it. If you're going to advertise those anchors for sale once you clean them up, list that track as well. Worth a LOT more than it's weight in scrap.
Concerning the gears, the first big one is a flywheel of a car or truck engine. The teeth are what the starter motor engages to turn the motor to start it. The second one is called a differential carrier, center part of the rear axle assembly of a vehicle. It was loaded with smaller gears and the axles to the wheels install in there to turn the wheels.

'Gear' is a fleywheel for a car or truck engine, second gear is out of rear differential of car or truck, wheel is a wheel off of one of those little "mules" that workers use on the railroad tracks.
