There’s no cross ventilation in the glass enclosures, unfortunately. The tarantulas that require a lot of cross ventilation (ie. Avics) are housed in acrylics.
That was a very beautiful T my friend. I'm getting my first 2 T. violaceus tomorrow I believe and hope I get a female. They are one of my favorite so I'm super excited. Love the purple colors on Ts. Can't wait to see this dream species in your next video.
Hello, i have a question: my black tarantula release some yellow liquid from back side and covered with net all over. I am wondering what exactly is that yellow liquid. Hope u experience that?
It is really not fun rehousing aggressive tarantulas especially old worlds but you did a really great job rehousing her she was so calm when she entered the enclosure 👍
You need to pack the substrate down when it’s still damp. The T will also have to web around the burrow walls before the substrate dries out otherwise it will collapse.

It's a shame that there is not a simple way to ventilate glass, as second hand fish tanks are really cheap and so easy to find :) x

I would like to know where you get your funding for this stuff. I have a reptile collection and I find it hard to fund my lizards and snakes.

He breeds his tarantulas when he can and he sells the slings and some of his collection in expos.
