Good practical stuff as usual, but we missed you doing the fibreglassing work. Love the look of the rear of that car. Best wishes from Australia (I have never seen a Bond or a 3 wheeler Reliant in my 73 years, only a Scimitar any years ago) I enjoy watching you work on these unusual beasts.
Hi Lewi, from Feilding in New Zealand. You have got a job and a half restoring that car, but you are doing great, stay at it. I owned a Reliant super van while working for Sir Patrick Henessay ( ex chairman of Ford motor Co in Cork Ireland if l remember right) he lived in a big country home near Theydon Bois Essex, in 1979-80, l was his houseman and gardener's helper . That car failed an MOT due to a rusted chassis! the fibreglass body was fine! We have a solitary reliant regal here in town. I gave the owner my old supervan owner's handbook that l had kept all those years. I once owned a little Suzuki Fronte 4 door car with a 3 cylinder 360cc rear mounted engine with rear wheel drive, a two stroke motor no less, and with a wonderful engine/exhaust sound. Obviously a Japanese 'Kei' car!. All the best with your restoration project. Kind regards, Geoff.
A lot of people wonder: What if the Reliant had the engine at the back? Here's the answer. And if you're wondering what a reversed Reliant Robin would look have a look at the American Dale car prototype. Also great video.
Good job Lewi, I am looking forward to all the works and video stories on this - keep up the excellent work - have you got a screen for it ? - can you get one ?
I remember a Reliant customer who fitted a second hand drivers door to his Robin, then brought it in to the dealership to get us to sort it out. He had ground almost an inch of the leading edge of the door and made it for for scrap. We couldn't rescue that! You've done a great job here Lewi

I have diagnosed you. Would you like to know your diagnosis? It's a good taste.
I don't envy you doing that. So time consuming and smelly
