Great as always Sunny. My "light bulb moment" was, "What does it cost to NOT get the transformation you provide." I've just finished writing a book titled "Bright Hope - A Voyage from Trauma to Transformation" not having known what you said...that people are looking for transformation! I'm a survivor of horrific childhood abuse which caught up to me in a horrible breakdown in the late 1990's. I lost my marriage, my kids, my house, my career and spent 20 years trying to find a way out of perpetual distress. I finally said, "Enough!" after 13 years of therapy, multiple misdiagnoses, the wrong drugs and isolation from friends and family. And I discovered the compass and the map and the golden keys that opened up the doors to the mysteries of trauma. I never intended to write a book or do a course, but as I did my research on each facet of trauma and applied what I learned my life has gotten so much better. I actually made the book like an adventure novel! Well, this is getting long, but I'm excited because you always motivate me. Thanks!

While I agree with everything that you say, my sticking point is that I want to reach a LOT of people...because my message (longevity) is new, important and not many people know about what science has discovered in the last few years. But at the end of the video, where you were talking about the millions & millions of people that you've reached through your UA-cam channel made me realize that I've done the same. This along with a few other videos I watched from you today was one of the best ones I've seen to help me really narrow down who the ideal client is. My initial idea was way too broad and I'm seeing how I really need to get a lot more focused. The language example was a great one because the instructor specifically focused on people who were moving and needed to know the language for work; that really brought it home for me.
Wow. This was fantastic and everything I needed to hear!! My online course is an Introductory Assisted Stretch Course for Massage Therapists & Personal Trainers to learn how to stretch their clients. I was guessing to charge under $80 for the course, but after watching this video, I realize that these potential customers will be able to uplevel their businesses and charge for their services, essentially making back the money they spend. Now I’m considering for sure around the $200 mark. Thank you!!!😊

Currently Im running ONE Program 😉 (but with 3 different options: group, Accelerator (some one on one sessions, and Complete Transformation option (personalised and one on one). Price point: Being in South Africa, speaking on & terms I need $5000 scaling to $10 000. I would say $700- $1000 for the program would be good, needing 5 clients per month. Sounds not that bad at all. Im gonna het that guide for sure! Thank you! So glad I 'stumbled' upon your videos! I always get the 'ick' when I think about pricing my course high, but then I hear your voice in my head saying, "But what have they spent already on other things that haven't worked?", and, "What is the value of the transformation you're providing?". Then I'm like, YES, I need to charge more than £100 for this course lol!
This has been such a struggle for me. Seeing everyone else in the industry I'm in charging so much less for their courses makes it feel impossible to sell a course for $500 when my 1:1 services aren't even $500
I’ve seen you before and found you again recently. When the student is ready, the teacher appears. I find the niching down such a valuable concept. It’s making my head spin. The possibility of finding more time by doing less and serving my best and most specific client is a great idea I’m a real estate agent and I find that working with estates is where my skills are best used. You’ve got absentees executors trying to sell from afar, the grief, the stuff, the need for home prep. It’s all my skillset. So the question is: is this a paid course? How do I attract my best clients for home sales here in Virginia? I can apply your guidelines but just to the opt in for a conversation, I guess… I wonder. Great stuff. So clear and focused. I have been teaching Adobe Premiere Pro to professionals for many years, and want to create an online model like yours. But I also teach af few to get “personal” with nature (animism), with old norse traditions like “Utiseta” (“outsitting”) in the wilderness at night, and want to build a similar model for that. My problem is, that I am really good at 1:1.

To scale online, try structuring your skills into courses with optional live Q&As or small group coaching. For animism, consider guided meditations or immersive video lessons. I want to make 2 paid classes. 1 for transforming your residential service company to a commercial service company. And another for sales reps to learn how to create a sales business and get out of the grind.
How do you account for people who want to take your course but are in countries with lower GDP? I don't want to price people out just cuz their currencies aren't as strong.

From a cold audience yes, 20% would be world class in my opinion. 20% may be from highly qualified leads that have been through a consultation call with one of her business coaches (there's a link for it in the description).

Hey Sunny, love your work! For the past 6 months I've been working on a DJ Course as this is where I have a lot of knowledge/expertise. The course isn't just "How to DJ" - I provide an immense amount of guidance and advice on the DJ scene in general, how to build your brand, how to use social media correctly, and so much more. I've never released a course and now that I have this sitting there ready to go - I'm not sure what to price it at. My target audience is obviously DJ's / music producers - who don't always want to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on stuff like this. Any advice or help would be great!
Um Sunny what if it's a course about pattern designing (each pattern that sells earns like $5-6 on an average)..so would the clients who buy this course be willing to pay $500? Just to learn how to design and write out the pattern? Thanks

Instead of aiming for a specific length, ask: *What outcome will students achieve? *What’s the simplest, most effective way to get them there? Focus on depth and quality rather than quantity. Students will value a concise course that gets results over a long one that feels overwhelming or filled with fluff.

The length of your course isn’t necessarily the key factor in determining a high-ticket price; the real value lies in the transformation it provides. People pay for the outcome, not the time spent-so if your course can create a meaningful change efficiently, that’s a strong selling point. Highlight the results your students achieve and the specific problems your course solves, and you can justify a premium price based on that transformation, regardless of the course length.
Umm… okay I have a question. Is 20% conversion rate that normal? Because I’ve only heard of 2-3% if you’re really good. 5% and you’re winning…. Or did you just give 20% as an example for the equation? …. Am confused now, please help
Great question! 😊 The 2-3% conversion rate is common for cold traffic, like ads or new visitors. However, with a warm, highly engaged audience-like an email list of people who know and trust you-a 20% conversion rate is possible, though still on the higher end. The 20% might have been used as an example to illustrate the equation. If you’re seeing anything above 5%, you’re doing great! Keep in mind that the type of audience and offer can make a big difference. Hope that clears things up! 🌟

I am a Hypnotist with over 24 years in my own online business selling hypnosis downloads and my hypnosis app ... and I Empower Law of Attraction Practitioners to Align their Thoughts, Emotions, and Actions with their Desires ... When you say to look at your competition and charge a bit more than that .. that would put my course at around the $3000 price point since the others are getting around $2500 for theirs. I am struggling though with that Price point ... and thinking perhaps starting at $1000 and moving it up from there?

How do you account for people who want to take your course but are in countries with lower GDP? I don't want to price people out just cuz their currencies aren't as strong.

From a cold audience yes, 20% would be world class in my opinion. 20% may be from highly qualified leads that have been through a consultation call with one of her business coaches (there's a link for it in the description).

For the past 6 months I've been working on a DJ Course as this is where I have a lot of knowledge/expertise. The course isn't just "How to DJ" - I provide an immense amount of guidance and advice on the DJ scene in general, how to build your brand, how to use social media correctly, and so much more.
I've never released a course and now that I have this sitting there ready to go - I'm not sure what to price it at. My target audience is obviously DJ's / music producers - who don't always want to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on stuff like this.
Any advice or help would be great!

Um Sunny what if it's a course about pattern designing (each pattern that sells earns like $5-6 on an average)..so would the clients who buy this course be willing to pay $500? Just to learn how to design and write out the pattern? Thanks

Great question! 😊 The 2-3% conversion rate is common for cold traffic, like ads or new visitors. However, with a warm, highly engaged audience-like an email list of people who know and trust you-a 20% conversion rate is possible, though still on the higher end. The 20% might have been used as an example to illustrate the equation. If you’re seeing anything above 5%, you’re doing great! so, if she had ~30million revenue so far, and 3000 customers, then she is charging 10K on average per customer. That's VERY far from the $500.
appreciate your detective work, but we've actually had well over 10,000 clients and we have charged a range of price points throughout the years.

I am a Hypnotist with over 24 years in my own online business selling hypnosis downloads and my hypnosis app ... and I Empower Law of Attraction Practitioners to Align their Thoughts, Emotions, and Actions with their Desires ... When you say to look at your competition and charge a bit more than that .. that would put my course at around the $3000 price point since the others are getting around $2500 for theirs. I am struggling though with that Price point ... and thinking perhaps starting at $1000 and moving it up from there?
