Arriflex 16S motor torque issue film chip gunk in gears

Removing some film chips from gears on the Arriflex 16S. The torque and current of the motor varied. Some film chips were fished out of the gears that are visible in the motor area. The proper way is to completely strip the camera down.

was it changing the frame rate when the torque would varie? Sometimes it sounds like the torque on mine varies but the footage doesn't seem to speed up.
