Do you have a more in depth video on how to load the 400ft magazine once getting to the body of the camera. Kinda confused on how to thread it when it’s looped

    Hello Paul
I'm looking for batteries and cords to power a 16S, to be built, used or restored?
Who knows the way to make them, rather in Europe, or in France
    Thanks
    Stephane

great video. somehow the inside of my camera doesn't have the white arrows to use as a guide for the loops. Anyone have any more info?

If by "it" you are referring to the Arri 16 S I got it for the semester from the RTVF167 Class at San Diego City College.

When I turn the inching knob it doesn't move the registration pin. Is there something wrong with mine?
*EDIT* It was the ball end of the motor not gripping with the rubber coupler. Added some tape to the end of the motor and the registration pin moves😊

Just so I understand... can this camera continue to roll film unlike the Bolex where it stops after 30 seconds, and you’ll have to wind it again? You can do a long take if you wanted to? I’m seriously interested in using film for future projects (Short films and Standup), so I’m just trying to gather as much information as I can.

Yes this camera has a power supply and can continuously shoot 100ft or 400ft rolls as long as it has film and power. You can also attach crystal sync motors for perfect sound syncing

good vid but why fade in and out on every shot - it's distracting.
