This turned out incredible! I think the slight cool tone of the house makes those wood and darker tones pop beautifully! Orthodontist here, the plaque formation is normal in sixmonths, some people just have a little more then others, if it isn’t inflamed then it is ok, just go on your regulars clean ups. Invisalign is great, it is difficult to evaluate if it will be good for you without seeing your teeth, in general it is a very good method of straightening teeth. It is expensive, you can always think a little bit more and use it in the future, because it is a commitment, you have to be very disciplined, because if you keep forgetting to use it even for just a little, it won’t work as it should. I always told my patients that they have to really want to use it, because it can be easily forgotten on your nightstand. Maybe your pain and sensibility has to do more with grinding your teeth, to me it seems more like you are describing that, and for that I would recommend the use of a night guard. But it is not wrong to also use braces or Invisalign for that, because when you are aligning your teeth usually you grind your teeth less. Girl…you do YOU! 99% of us do “bandaid” jobs. I love these type of jobs. I have to do the, because hubby is medically unable to do things so I do them and I love it!
My husband and I started our marriage in a single wide mobile home. We first built a master suite and paid cash for that. Next, we built a large living room and guest bedroom. Paid cash for that. A couple years later, we moved the mobile home and added on a whole new addition, including a new kitchen/dining room, laundry room, and mud room and pantry. We paid for all of that. While the new addition was being finished, my husband passed away, but thankfully, I had the money to finish everything. My house is completely paid off now. The point I'm making is it took a few years to get the house of my dreams and its paid off because we built it as we could afford it and didn't have to go in debt to do it. There is nothing wrong with you and your husband doing projects as the money allows, and you're wise to do it that way.

I’m afraid that many young people and I mean anywhere from theirs 20’s to 40’s nowadays expect perfection or they want it now. I am in my 60’s and I guess people would say we did many band aid projects but we were always so happy to have the funds and time to do them. So, please do not let these Negative people get you down. Now, your house and sidewalk look so beautiful since you painted it and it just made a big transformation for not that much money. I love the sidewalk color so much and it goes perfectly with the house color and also nature. Love the plants and new chairs. 😊❤😊
Hi Karrie! I am 71 very close to 72😂. I did in visiting at 70. Just needed to straighten 2 teeth. The dentist thought 6 months. It ended up being a year and 3 months. Understand you have to remove the trays to eat your meals. And you must be disciplined to wear them all the time. The first few days my speech was affected but I quickly got used to them. You are supposed to take them out to drink coffee or soda otherwise they will stain but you can soak them and brush them. After you have completed the prescribed time period, you will get a retainer that you wear every night. I am a grinder at night so the retainer has helped me in that regard. It is expensive. Hope this helps!
With diy, you learn as you go and each time u redo a space that was already done just makes it that much better. Even little projects make a huge difference. Not a bandaid…real life ❤
Hi Karrie! I have Invisalign, or I HAD. Now I use their retainers NIGHTLY. If you follow the regimen step by step, you will not be disappointed. My teeth were not awful. My eye tooth on the left protruded, and my bite was off. It corrected both problems. I have been wearing the retainer/night guard every night for a couple of years. This keeps my teeth in place, and honestly, helps with my teeth grinding at night. In turn, this has reduced my related headaches. Good luck! I love your channel❤

My daughter has Invisalign and you can barely tell at. Her speech was more affected with retainer than Invisalign. She talks pretty much same. I live you’re porch , the paint just so pretty.
I’m 67 and just finished my regimen of Invisalign. I had bone loss too. My teeth look great now. Waiting on my orthodontist to make a nighttime retainer. If your dentist thinks you’d benefit from Invisalign, by all means take care of your smile!

Hi Kerri, I absolutely love your channel and I’ve been watching it for years, I think you’re amazing:) I’ve been a dental hygienist for the past 27 yrs and love my job:)) Invisalign is incredible and from a hygiene point of view much easier to keep your teeth clean as opposed to brackets and wires. 9 times out of ten you can’t even tell someone is wearing the trays. The results are amazing.

Hi Kerri, I absolutely love your channel and I’ve been watching it for years, I think you’re amazing:) I’ve been a dental hygienist for the past 27 yrs and love my job:)) Invisalign is incredible and from a hygiene point of view much easier to keep your teeth clean as opposed to brackets and wires. 9 times out of ten you can’t even tell someone is wearing the trays. The results are amazing.
My son has them & you would never know. He figured out very quickly how to talk without sounding weird. They are so clear you can't even tell.
I think you are doing wonderful things to your home and people who watch your channel should you know love doing it yourself...looks good kerri and what's more you did it yourself and did a damn good job 😊

I have been a subscriber for a while now I continue to be with you because you work for your home unlike some UA-camrs they have sponsors for everything and redo their house over and over again but through sponsors. I also can't afford professionals and I know I won't have sponsors so I feel you are real for those that have to do our own houses where we can do it over and over again.

It was done because we couldn't afford to pay for most improvements. Besides, it gave us a sense of pride doing it. You keep on doing what you do. We'll support you!
