    Love your vlogs and videos. I thought the first colour on your lips really suits you. Ive purchesed a few recipes from pimp my soap and they've all turned out great. If i lived where you are i would be spending in your shop regularly hand made products are the way to go.

      Thank you. I definitely suit the darker colours but once I have it right, I will be offering a variety.
      Thank you for buying the recipes 🧡 Now I am closing the website, just make sure you have the files stored in some safe places or printed as once I take the site down, you won't be able to access the files online. I also have lots of other recipes listed on the Patreon Shop page

    You have so much on your plate. It sounds like reevaluating Pimp Your Soap was the right thing to do at this time. And unrelated to that, your personal safety can’t be underestimated. Look after you xx

    Dear Keeley you're an absoluely wonderful person with gold in your heart. You're so devoted to your business, no matter it's testing bits and piece or handling big issues, I honestly wish your good seeds planted will have great harvest in return very soon caused you're so well-deserved. I was very impressed to watch how you "give birth" to a new products and those behind the scenes and efforts paid on trial & errors, this always give your customers (at least to me) 200% confidence that what we paid to get your products worth every penny. Here I would also like to use this chance to thank you again for those freebies you sents me in my every order, I can feel that you really well-thought for what I may need or like, but not just randomly picked me freebies from your basket. However, please don't over-stress yourself too much, esp. your body alarm clock rang already, I was a bad example.
    p.s. you looked gorgeous as you've make-up when you put on that "vampire blood" lipgloss, even your facial expression in 51:48 was kind of funny. I'd love to try one too as I love subtle color as well, hope u can invent the formula u feel satisfied and make it your new line, I will definitely your long term customer. Besides, I really laughed when I heard that ringtone notification of George, which I always heard in your videos, hahahaha, this is so valuable to have a friend in same fields which can share thoughts and advice. You also grin broadly when you heard his message alert too. Anyway, thank you for your vlog again, a very fruitful contents, even the news were not all good, but things always turn better when it became worst, I just hope you all the best.🥰
    p.s. AGAIN.....I planned to give a good to buy the body yogurt next time then u seemed read my mind again, so now I am awaiting to your Mother's Day invention then I will place an order, in order to enjoy your pampering😜

      Thank you for your continuing support 🧡 I get luck with some formulations and get them right in a couple of goes but this lip gloss is definitely proving trickier. I pulled the face on that lip gloss because I didn't like the stickiness on my lips 😝 Hopefully I get the formula right soon and I will bring out a range of colours.
      I'm happy you like the samples I send. I always to try select things that complement the order or something you may not have tried. I always try to find blue Ray of Sunshines for you 💙
      I plan to have Mother's Day packs done by the 8th April. If you order in April, you will get a 50g pot of Mango Body Yoghurt.

    I totally understand why you are shutting pimp my soal down. I was wasting money on my website branch of my business, so I shut it down. Boy am I glad I did, so happy. I am very happy I don't have to deal with that any longer!
    I stick with Etsy and my wholesale branch, for now. It was amazing how many folks thought I was charging too much, even though my prices were lower than most of the competition. My prices were extremely competitive. I am always asked to make different products, but people don't understand branching out and insurance. Everything you said is so true. So looking forward to more of your videos!
    Cheers 👍💕 🤗

    Once again another full on action packed month for you Keeley. I totally agree with you on closing and opening time changes - especially in the light on those that are hanging around. You never know when the smallest of things can escalate and you don't want to be on your own when it does. Your safety and security must come first. Sorry, but I put in another order for your Soap Dough....and was sad that I missed out on the black....but no matter, you will be saving me heaps of time and allow me to concentrate on other things. Nice to see you looking so well and looking forward to the next video. Keep up the great work. 💖💖🤗🤗✨✨

    Thanks for the label info! QUESTION PLEASE!...Do you use precut label sheets or do you use whole blank sticker sheets and cut with a cricut? I have not had ANY luck using precut labels. They never print up completely in line. They are always off! ...two completely different kinds of printers and two different label companies...their tech says its my printer.??? Any thoughts? Thanks!❤

    • @SoyandShea
      @SoyandShea  6 місяців тому

      As I mention in the video, I used to use precut label sheets but now I have a specialised label printer that works on rolls of label that it cuts to size. I use an Epsom C3500 but I believe it has been discontinued. When using sheets with precut labels, you need to make sure the sheet of paper is the size they say. Even though I was buying A4 sheets, they were actually 1-2mm shorter in bother width and height which really threw off the printing. I used to have templates that I used in Adobe Illustrator so I knew where to put my images. However, if the printer picked the paper up funny, they would misalign. It is one of the reasons I invested in the printer I have now.

    Cold induced urticaria is so debilitating. My daughter had it while she was in intermediate. She jumped into a cold pool at her school and had an allergies reaction. She was smothered in a rash. Walking into stores with harsh air con also affected her. So im feeling for you. Hopefully, once your stress comes down, it will disappear

    • @SoyandShea
      @SoyandShea  6 місяців тому +1

      I only discovered I had Urticaria last year after having some really bad flare ups the previous year. Looking back over the years, I have realised it has always been there but I had never put two and two together. I had always thought the rashes were from something else. I can't stand anything cold brushing against my skin and have complained since I was a child about cold water in showers. If I need a lot of things from the Freeze aisle in the shops, I have to take hubby so he can get them out. I have had some dirty looks from people when I keep pointing to stuff in the freezer asking him to get stuff. I no longer drink cold drinks in glasses unless we are out and I don't have my cup. I have metal tumblers at home. I have adapted over the years but it can be challenging when I am out, especially if shops are too cold. The stress is getting less now and really looking forward to our future. 🧡

      She was actually a nice person but just not considerate of the surrounding businesses. There is also a funeral home in our group of shops so the music wasn't always appropriate at the volumes. It was challenging when she wanted to complain about the lack of business, but people could see she had lost interest so they did too. I am so excited to have Emma next door though my wallet might not be 😝 She does the best dairy free croissants.

    I understand your valid concerns about keeping safe at your place of work. There may be a care home in the vicinity of the shops, I'm sure the fallicators would be willing to hear those concerns. Failing that, if there are no nearby care homes, you could speak to someone at the council? Maybe?

    • @SoyandShea
      @SoyandShea  6 місяців тому +1

      I got to speaking to a couple of other shopkeepers, and we're all feeling uneasy. Another revealed why we're feeling uneasy, and they've already reported to police and council with video footage, and neither will do anything 😞

    Lots of frustrations! Stress is your number one concern when you have lupus. I hope you feel better soon friend!
    Arrowroot powder? For your lip gloss. It does thicken your product but gives a lovely silky feel.

    • @SoyandShea
      @SoyandShea  6 місяців тому +1

      Although I've had several tests for Lupus, it's never shown. The stress and histamine is something completely different. It's a natural reaction, but most people can break down the excess histamine before it becomes an issue.
      I'll have to look more into arrowroot. It could help the colour mattify. I know it can thicken an oil based product but not sure if it creates the gel consistency I'm after 🧡

    • @sarahconklin1256
      @sarahconklin1256 6 місяців тому

      @@SoyandShea 😞 I tried arrowroot on the lips and it is grainy. After the oil soaks in, it is silky but goes on grainy…This histamine thing is interesting because my family has never shown the numbers for lupus. My mom even had the classic butterfly rash. My grandmother, my aunt and my mom all died of liver and kidney failure. I very much would like to hear what you do from here. Because I have the high numbers of inflammation but no lupus. I’ve allergy tested and removed all allergens. It has helped a lot.

    • @SoyandShea
      @SoyandShea  6 місяців тому +1

      @@sarahconklin1256 I thought that might be the case. Our lips are so sensitive that we feel any fine grains the rest of our skin might not feel.
      I've been tested 6 times for lupus now (the first was when I was 20) and the last test did show some abnormality but was then brushed off by the specialist I was sent to see. Honestly, I think they were just getting as many patients through the door as they all started 40 minutes late due to a meeting that day and they needed to catch up 😢 I've been told the inflammation is possibly a symptom of the PCOS but no one will give a definite answer. It's been the same story my whole life when it comes to health care. Finding a doctor to listen and take the time to find out what is wrong it so hard.
      I think the histamine issue has been there for a long time but I have just not really put the pieces together until last year when the symptoms become more apparent. But thinking back, it all makes sense. In all situations where our body naturally produces histamine such as when cold or when stressed, I have broken out in rashes, got short of breath and had itchy skin. I have to wait for another "histamine attack" and hopefully get the emergency blood test to confirm it. But getting that done with the way our doctors are, will prove easier said than done. I can't get the blood test request paper until the GP sees the symptoms themself and you generally have to wait 3-4 days to get the appointment 🤦‍♀ I need ESP to know I am about to have an attack so I can book the appointment 😝

      @@SoyandShea the best dr I ever had was a Nurse practitioner and she worked in a walk in clinic. Unfortunately I had to move from the area. 😭😭😭 it’s so frustrating to not get answers. Start writing down when you have an attack and what you ate and what the symptoms are. I’ve even got a file on my phone with pictures. I think there are still things that we just haven’t figured out yet. They don’t want to tell you that they’re just as stumped as you are!
