Chinese ones have more Bells and whistles but you can buy coils and Made in USA. El Paso I think. I'm gonna subscribe. Hello from Lubbock Texas. Plus a good 5 year warranty.
Remember you have All Metal mode and Discrimination mode and I think tone mode with the toggle . Turn up sensitivity all the way up till it sqawks then then down till it goes away. Then adjust discrimination in Disc mode.
@ArmedForager I just ordered 1 of these (used) to compliment the 1 my wife has. In studying on how to use it, i have seen a few videos from straight up metal detector guys, & may I mention, not as criticism, but just to share what I've picked up, you might want to slow down & sweep overlapping 1/2 diameter of the detector. The way you're moving there you might be missing some good stuff. Just found your channel by searching for this detctor model. Looking forward to checking out your foraging videos.
Ive played with detectors a gew times. Its fun. I think that fits into foraging 🤔.

@@BFD378 that's a great tip! Thanks for the heads up.
What do you think about carrying a PMR 30 22 Magnum as a backpack gun. You can carry more ammo than a 9 is my thinking. Thanks for your videos.
Always better to have 2 than one. As long as the reliability is there. I've heard stories about the PMR 30, but they may have worked out the kinks?
