back when I first started skating a couple of my friends gave me a list of many gnarly skaters but the one that stuck out the most was Brandon. The thing I like most about Brandon is that he still uses basic tricks (Ollie's,nollies, 180's , boardslides etc) but still make them look so steezy ohh don't forget the speed he uses is just crazy, I guess you can say he was my favorite skater since day 1. keep it up Brandon
12:03 the fact that he pops over those with ease is INSANE. I live in Atlanta and skated there and getting up into an easy high ledge trick like a crook is tough. He goes over the top like they're just in his way
I have skated and watched every major skater since the early 90s straight up to today. But this kid here........... This kid here........... Definition of a humble Savage. Guess that's why he's kinda flew under the radar for most his career, well until you see him skate. Then he goes from "never heard of him" straight to ”one of the most aggressive and sickest fucking skaters ever” hands down
i guess that's the thing about skating that's tough for me to swallow, you gotta be willing to wreck your body sometimes to get these tricks... I mean, for all the times they land one, how many times did they have to fall first? got to say, gotta respect that tenacity and drive a lot of skaters seem to have
At first he was like "that was fun" and then "good times". I would be fucking dead after these slams, damn. Anyways, why is everyone kind of asking him to do switch tricks, fakies and stuff? Don't you think he has his own style and doesn't want to be like a bunch of skaters that WE can name right now? Everybody is doing the same tricks in ledges, flippin in, flippin out. I love it, don't get me wrong but is amazing to see different stuff like Westgate's one. I can't think of any other skater that can try to do the shit he does. I don't know guys, think about it and let him alone haha btw, he has a stylish tre flip, watch the ones in the MADE part.
I really like those videos from emerica! they show how much effort you need to put into a trick! sometimes you get your board against your head or your head against a rail but in the end you land it !! that´s what skateboarding is all about ,and they show the real life of a skatboarder :)
So good. That ollie up the gap on the tennis courts was so dope. That spot is in Woodlands, TX outside of Houston. Been there many times and it is no joke
He kind of is a product of the 90's. Just straight talent without any gimmick. That's an amazing feat now a days. Still under rated by today's standards.
This guy, to me, is underrated!! I say that knowing he's just shy of 750,000 views.. The endlessly perfect skating puts him on a Daewon level for me. Allllll the untouched spots, though, a whole other side of what you always wanted to see!
Fucking stay gold is my favorite skate movie. Everyone that was on Emerica has the meanest style and to say the least their shoes were fucking amazing. Films like this fuel my passion for skateboarding
these b sides are cool because they give you a glimpse of the skaters personalities in a time when we only know them by what they have landed or there sponsor or whatever
well those tricks where harder then it look, this guy is known for his incredible pop, and the balls he has for comming up to a rail with lots of speed... this guys a legend for the worst bails and most pop!!
I hope it is mostly pain and no serious wounds. It hurts to see every slam and at the same time it looks even more beautiful when you know how much work/pain that goes into it. Respect.
Man this video shows the epitome of never, ever, ever give up. This why Westgate is a pro. He falls off and gets right back at it. And if the landing wasn't good enough he'll do it a hundred times over until he rides away clean. This state of mind dictates brilliance from average. Never stop until you get what you want. Brandon Westgate nothing but respect.
He didn't complain once. New favorite skater.
I was like 14 when this came out I remember I used to just watch it over and over again can’t belive it’s been like 10 years
"You must come from a very dysfunctional family for them to be letting you do this"
"I know... I have problems"
Haha too funny
From what he mentioned on the Nine Club it's sort of true actually. What an amazing dude and a hard worker.

+Isaac Ojeda the most professional 180's and kickflips i've ever seen.
This guy is sooo good like he's probally the best street skater I ever seen like hands down
He looks like he's training to be a stunt double
I honestly watch the B-Sides more than any other videos. It's just raw and gives insight as to what we really do.
Just watched this and Figgy's part. Damn these guys are tough as nails. It's a contact sport to the highest degree.
+flangmasterj easily the two best b sides from stay gold. Super gnarly
flangmasterj yes I agree! I love football but skateboarding is one of the most brutal!
Brandon is one of my favorite skaters now!
He is SO nice though! Always calm and collected
The kid from Malcom in the middle got POP!
VanillaFejz lol Dewey
can we all take a moment to applaud the filmer at 11:15 for that job of keeping up with that INSANE line
Yeah bro that line is sooo good! Love Westgates pace, pop and power! Fav skater!
12:03 the fact that he pops over those with ease is INSANE. I live in Atlanta and skated there and getting up into an easy high ledge trick like a crook is tough. He goes over the top like they're just in his way
One of the best videos ever. Can't get enough Westgate footy!

That's the reason I'll never do shit like the pros
dr05guitar scars are just memories for the tricks you worked your ass off for
the sound of a skateboard just cruising has to be they best sound EVER!
At first he was like "that was fun" and then "good times". I would be fucking dead after these slams, damn.

9 years later emerica b sides are still my favourite videos
They say you can ollie as high as you can jump, and Westgate proves that.
I really like those videos from emerica! they show how much effort you need to put into a trick! sometimes you get your board against your head or your head against a rail but in the end you land it !! that´s what skateboarding is all about ,and they show the real life of a skatboarder :)
7:27 when i first saw the spot i was like,
"Oh its pretty long its a nice one
Oh wait he goes up not down, fuck im out"
So good. That ollie up the gap on the tennis courts was so dope. That spot is in Woodlands, TX outside of Houston. Been there many times and it is no joke

FULL commitment every single damn time. That's why I respect Brandon Westgate.
9:43 my jaw hit the floor...
9:43
He floats
Stay Gold is amazing. Always enjoy seeing gaps or rails I would want to go down, then watching as the Emerica crew goes UP that shit.
7:48 someone says, wrong way fool.
LOL. jumping down stuff is too easy for westgate so he just goes up it.
How can these skaters be so flawless!

LAN Evo i unterstand not that
i was thinking this lol
You can tell his legs are jacked for sure!
ahhh.. the sounds of skateboarding are so beautiful (':
So before this I never thought that Brandon even landed wrong

Westgate is one of my favourite skaters UA-cam needs more regular vids from the guy, gotta respect the guy for watching out for the kids.
I can't even pop an Ollie going that fast...
this is my 20th time watching it over and over!!
WARNING: Filming a part for Brandon Westgate could lead to serious injury or possibly death.
massive pop meets freaking speed. 9:40 is easily one of my favorite skateboard clips ever.
I don't know why but 3:53 stands out to me a lot
The definition of natural ability! So good!
Does he like not even give as shit about pain? Fuckin invincible.
This is crazy!!! So much commitment!
He can sure take a lot damage
This part is nucking futs!
I remember the first time I watched.
Completely astonished!
Watched it.
9:30 westgate probably offered that elderly lady some cranberries. she oblidged
Funny story from his epicly later’d is that he felt so bad afterwards that he bought that woman some flowers as his way of saying sorry
i love watching people skate fun spots cause it makes me wana go find sick spots
fuckin a man hes so fucking gnarly, and hes got more pop then all the pills ive ever popped combined and its alot trust me!!

-Legoman
I never realized how good this guy was grinds until I watched the video. This guy is a good all around skater!!!!
He can probably ollie up el toro with that much pop
Daniel Hernandez el toros gone
Daniel Hernandez He could ollie up wallenberg with that much pop
+John Wilms no its not
Thanks to Coming to ARGENTINA, it's a Dream come True ;)
I think he's better than Nyjah by a long shot....
He kind of is a product of the 90's. Just straight talent without any gimmick. That's an amazing feat now a days. Still under rated by today's standards.
I see why he eats shit all the time......its because he goes Hella fast but he's still a great ducking skater! I voted for him for SOTY
best skater ive ever seen, absolute fearlessness
$. Wes Kramer
2. Brandon Westgate
3. Cyril Jackson
4. T Puds
5. Luan Oliveira
6. Baby Jesus
Probably one of the better 'Stay Gold' videos.
Westgate has some talent.
Some things will just never get old.
This boy has heart thats we he never gives.... i respect that
dude can push so hard and fast, most solid stance I ever saw.
his style reminds me a bit of cardiel. super fast and gnarly. i love this vid.
This guy, to me, is underrated!! I say that knowing he's just shy of 750,000 views.. The endlessly perfect skating puts him on a Daewon level for me. Allllll the untouched spots, though, a whole other side of what you always wanted to see!
Except this guy goes hard and risks his life on gnarly spots while daewon dances around on preschool picnic tables not even comparable.
@@JB-kg1zv i wrote this in 2013..
@@jigawhen WTF does that matter this dudes footage from 2013 is still better than anything Gaywan song puts out.
words cant even describe how sick this footage it. i neeeeed stay gold
It shows true passion for skating he goes this hard falls this bad and just keeps going hard
