having a moment of transcendental ecstasy can often be destabilizing. These experiences are inefable, beyond language and, therefore, often hard to integrate into our normal, waking lives. People can struggle with “functioning” in the everyday world after tasting starlight. But it needn’t be so. There are protocols and procedures for harnessing and harvesting these ecstatic modes of being and bringing their power, in a sustainable way, into our everyday lives.
