From what I’ve seen you are both amazing parents you should be so proud of yourselves. You children are beautiful I am also married to an African man and he’s just amazing and an incredible dad. People doubted us at first and all the doubters are now divorced it was love at first sight for both of us and 30 years later still deeply in love Keep it up xxxx

We had prefects at our grammar school in the 70s ! My only assumption about your family is that you are clever, especially when it comes to your ability to speak different languages. I am so sorry. I do seem to keep missing these great sessions where you kindly find the time to interact with those who follow your videos. It’s amazing how you manage to find the time. My assumption is that you really take your responsibilities as parents, and to each other very seriously, and understand that relationships take hard work, love and commitment to each other. This is not a criticism of you, it is in fact the reverse. You are so proud of your babies, and quite rightly. They are beautiful, beautiful children who you clearly put as your first priority. There is no better way to bring up a family. Showing them that nothing in the world is more important to you both than your children. I applaud you both for this. There is no greater demonstration to your children of how very important they are to their Mommy and Daddy, even though it can be hard work at times. Please always be proud of what you have achieved, both in and out of the home. All of these things are very hard work. But you have kept on, working together, doing your very best. I went to boarding school in Jamaica and we had prefects and head boy and head girl. As they are both former British colonies like Kenya so it will have prefects as Jamaica and Kenya are based on the British schooling system 😊
English was our first language growing up in Kenya and our Sunday school teachers were British so our accents were developed early. I absolutely adore your family❤

Oh my gosh, the part about getting a cat really made me laugh as I resonate with this. I was like Ray and my husband wanted a cat for a long time, i kept saying no! They are weird, I don’t want animals or my house smelling of cat, I am moving house, we can carry on the marriage in separate homes 😂 Well 9 months down the line, we have a kitten called Nala and I absolutely adore her! I actually love her rubbing on me!

People need to understand that pets can really stress some people out. My grandmother was terrified for 2 days when my cousin rudely brought her dog on a visit, knowing that wasn't ok with our grandmother. You might enjoy the cat, but is it worth making your husband upset?

I was simply drawn to your videos when I saw the first one where, at two years of age your daughter was speaking in full sentences that weren’t gibberish, but rather very understandable and made sense. That told me instantly that you don’t baby talk to your kids and that is something that has always been important to me, as far back as 40+ years ago. So, am drawn in to videos where parents actually do that. It’s just a fact that when parents actually talk to their kids normally, that those kids are able to talk in full sentences and “seem” advanced. Your doing a great job, with that. So kudos to you! 💕

I think it is healthy to argue ovcasionally. If couples never argue, it usually means that one partner always gives in, or is even afraid to argue back.
My parents took me to a Dr at 2 thinking something was wrong because I wouldn't speak, I'd just grunt. The Dr. Looked at my brother and sister (much older than me as I was an oopsy baby) and said, get them to stop talking for her and she'll speak. My parents said, I haven't shut up since. Lol. My point is, Remi may be delayed compared to Amaya simply because she loves him so much and will do his talking for him. Oh and as far as looking like dad, I see both of you in Amaya and Remi. Talk about the best of both as both kids are absolutely beautiful. Much loves, cheers!
My secondary school had prefects! But maybe not as strict as traditional prefects, we were basically hall monitors at break times. Head boy and head girl were the ones who were all pally with the head teacher lol
