Is South American E-commerce company MercadoLibre the next amazon? Or the next Paypal?

With the Latin America markets seeing inflows I wanted to focus on the massive E-commerce company in South America, #mercadolibre and given its high P/E if its worth chasing up here and what the potential risks are. While revenue growth continues to be strong, there's some weakness in the margins that might lead it to trade down to 30 - 35x earnings. For now, its a stock to keep an eye on.

Very interesting play, especially with Mexico in mind and their ongoing development in their economy.

Ya there's some currency issues with their argentina business that I didn't mention in the video because it was going to be 90 minutes long then, but that will pull back on eps near term.

I bought MELI in March of 2021 and sold some time in 2022. Once bitten, twice shy as they say. Will do crayons if I remember later
