Just a quick tip, you can put neutral special in the air on a button. For example you can put it on your parry button since you cant parry in the air anyway. This makes it way easier and consistent to b reverse his projectile and makes it so you cant accidently side b when you try to b reverse.
A couple tips I'd add: You touched on RAR a bit (running, turning around and jumping) when you talked about fair, but RAR back air is actually a pretty strong approach tool when you learn to space it correctly. Dair's main uses imo are onstage combos (land dair into jab jab down tilt for example, or dair grab if they like to shield) and off stage gimping. The hitboxes kind of drag your opponent down with you, and since orcane can recover from anywhere if he has a puddle, he can go INSANELY deep to chase a kill off stage, literally dragging opponents to the blast zone and still be able to recover. Also, I've found moonwalking to be very useful with orcane for similar reasons as RAR, his hitboxes when facing away (reverse fair, back air) from his opponent are very strong. You can moonwalk bair for edgeguards, or to get more momentum for your fair.
Once again guys thanks for the love on these! Reminder that I am new to Rivals so let me know if theres anything that I missed and I'll include it in the followup videos after I get through the cast. I left my computer on and have been playing Wrastor in training mode for 2 days let me get some PVP matches in and hopefully the Wrastor Guide can come tomorrow :)
The turn around cancel hydroplanning can be done with shield and spot dodge which are great ways to approach defensively and with spot dodge you can cover like half the stage of distance while being intangible. 🐳 2:00
Down diagonal (in the direction you need to be facing) down-b will b-reverse as well! It’s a lot easier to do for me at least when I need to recover using fair!
how do i neutral air consistently without jumping too high or accidentally doing another move im so bad at it, i literally have never bounced on the ground like you keep doing and it's upsetting pls help
two ways to help with this im your keybinds: you can set a button to only do short hops, and you can set either your grab or parry button to do a nair while airborne

This is really helpful!
Is that a b reverse or just a turnaround down b?
@@brad9634 I would consider it a b-reverse because its in the air. But im not too sure what it classifies as
Orcane feels like Kirby, not that similar, but the down air reminds me of Kirby soo much
no hes a blue ball so he is sonic
Really important you should note that d tilt combos into usmash when it doesnt combo into uair, and there is a lot of time to see the di and react
For sure!
Trying to figure out how to recover well with this character. Cant get comfy with it yet.
your voice is very easy to listen to! Thanks for the guide🔥
Aw shucks appreciate it
YREESSSS IVE BEEN WAITING, orcane is soooo hard to me
