Place is HUGE! Since 1939! That was 2 years before the Japanese destruction they did on the island. All that gear! Ohhh my! I dig the Ibanez RG in sparkle green!! So affordable!! Good post my friend! Keep up the great videos!
I was completely underwhelmed with my first visit to my local Guitar Center in the past 20 years. That seems like an awesome privately owned shop that I wish we had more of locally in upstate NY.
It's not upstate unfortunately, but check out Alto Music in Middletown one day. It's mind blowing. I love our story easy music center, but it's tiny compared to Alto.
I had a kurt jaguar in road worn and I absolutely loved that guitar but unfortunately it was stolen when the van when packing up after a gig in 2012 got nicked! I actually couldn't find another in the road worn after months of waiting to get the insurance money. Would buy another in a heartbeat and some day I hope fender do a usa version of the kurt jag.

That place is awesome! And I love the JagStang! I played one this morning and I thought it looked cool, but it just felt perfect to me. It's more like a Jazzmaster than anything, or a strat without that damn switch in the way. I may buy one
Love it over there. You should also check out Dan’s guitars. It’s a smaller shop but has a great abundance of new and used guitars with a room dedicated just to PRS guitars.
This shop was originally owned by the man that founded a big company called Servco, which is now the majority owner and stockholder of Fender, although after he died his heirs sold Easy Music to Peter.
I’m in Honolulu on vacation right now from snowy @$$ Massachusetts, so I’ll have to check Easy MC out. Went to the first spot Dan’s, and got to tell them I saw the shop on your channel. That was honestly really cool to be able to do that and the guys there were awesome. Got to talk with them for a while too even after they were ‘technically’ closed. I’m sure Easy MC will be great too since Hawaii has the nicest people on earth. Obv couldn’t leave empty handed so I picked something small and went with the Pigtronix Moon Pool. Really great univibe style of sound. Thank you for doing this series. Love to be able to check out the local scenes if possible wherever I am. I hope other people who watch your channel are able to check these spots out too and support local businesses!
Easy Music is the place for Fender, and I've bought far too many Strats from them over the years, lol. And they may be the source for Taylors too, but for Martins, then Island Guitars is the place to go. They also have a very professional and knowledgeable tech there, and his prices for his work are crazy low.
Massive fan of Nirvana since first hearing 'Smells like...' way back when it came out. However! I can't get on board with the Jag stang. Love the k. Cobain custom shop Jaguar though.
Man, learn in a way of Albert king,bramhall second or Eric gales. Why dont you? Why you give. Himself a tortires of watch ing many sweet guitars. It takes you only a 2 years to play a when i come around by green day without miss a Beat.
Go to Guitar Center this place is Horrible and they don’t know how to treat people. The setup of the store also makes NO sense as they don’t let you play ANY instrument loud or at any higher level even if you are professional ! Thumbs down and 0 Stars. I ended up buying my new Fender and Amp from GC in Pearl City the only good store on the island. Easy music Center said they would call me when I could order the Fender, when at guitar center I ordered it on the spot.

I've bought a couple of things from there over the years when we've made it to Hawaii. Pretty good shop and staff.
There are some truly massive music stores out there. CME, Sweetwater, GC Hollywood, etc. But I still like my smaller local music shop :)

Being left handed myself, I know it was torture not being able to pick up and try most of those guitars.
