11,000 Feet of Climbing in ONE day?! - Aravaipa Limitless Vertical Challenge Virtual Race

Race Recap of the Aravaipa Limitless Vertical Challenge virtual race hosted by Run Steep Get High. I'll be honest, it hurt. It was hard. It pushed me. On day 1, I was able to get just over 11,000 feet of vertical gain and over 32 miles. Most of the day was spent hiking, but I ran some of the downhills. For a big effort like this, it was important to conserve energy.
The "race" took place near Ogden, Utah.
As you'll see in the video, I had some technical difficulties, but that didn't stop me from meeting my goal. Total climbing for the week was 14,639 feet of vertical gain.
