Oh I think you can absolutely make the hexie quilt. It really is meditative and easy. The first couple I made were a little wonky but it got better and better

Debbie, I have missed you and your video. But glad you are having fun with your quilt. I also have some wrist n shoulder pain. But I still wanna knit n crochet. So I did that…..I should just rest for few days, but I just couldn’t. Even though I knit and crochet slower, but at least I still wanna just do it. Hahaha, I’m the stubborn type. I’m telling my brain, nope, I’m fine…I can do this….hahaha.

I wear Baltic amber bracelets from Lithuania and definitely have no more wrist pain.

@@CanadianCrocheter ideas skeptical but it works. My little shihpoo wears one too. It works to repel those critters. So far haven't seen any on her. Been 8 years wearing amber.

Hi Debbie, I love your video and seeing all the beautiful things your crafting. I am a knitter at heart but looking at all the lovely crochet things makes me want to try my hand at it. My favorite piece this episode is the hexy quilt. I would love to try this, so I wonder if you might have some fabric you would be able to share? I would like to make a cover for my bed as well. Is it hard? How do you sew the pieces together? Keep making videos they're GREAT!

I hear what your saying. I live in Ontario Canada and I once mailed a hand knit scarf to my Mom and it cost me more in shipping then the actual price of the yarn. Go figure :( I just hoped maybe you would send off a few scraps so I could get started.......
I love that quilt. Have you ever made a biscuit quilt? Two squares top one larger than the bottom square put a pleat to make each side same sew three sides closed then stuff the pocket and sew closed. It would be awesome with your scraps and no need to quilt after just add a backing.
I have seen those quilts and it is on my very long to-do list

That's a neat idea, kina like a hexi yoyo. Here is what I use for pain, it works so well, even on my hubbys bad knees, "Chiki Buttah" products, Canna Bliss Balm, I get the stick, it's a bit pricy but it's so worth it! My daughter had a migraine headache and swiped this across her forhead and with in a minute it was bareable and and few minutes later was gone. I first learned of it as it was one of the extras in my yarnyay subscription box from Vickie Howell, she said her and her husband use this stuff all the time. It takes my hand pain away in seconds in most cases. You don't need to put on a bunch either, a little goes a long way. They offer sample sizes for you to try it out.
I do have some cannabis butter that I buy but I will look into that name. Thanks

well, it is actually kind of an inside joke in my family. The hubby and kids never call it crochet with the sh sound and when I made up the channel name I didn't think too long about it and unfortunately now I cannot change it. It probably was not the best choice thinking back on it
