Umwelt (a short animation)

This took a while! It's almost entirely hand drawn animation in colored pencil on paper and handmade sculptures, composited and edited in Procreate and Procreate Dreams. (I cut some corners. There's some digital drawing.) All audio recorded by me and edited in GarageBand.
Read no further if you don't want to watch me being very thankful.
Thank you Sue for helping me through the process of making this and making it feel at all achievable. You kept me on track and got me excited about what I could do.
Thank you Bronwyn for setting me on the path to make this last term and encouraging me when I was feeling real sick of animating and at a loss for where to go.
Thanks John for helping me love my instrument again-- I hugely procrastinated making sound for this animation but when I did it felt safe and fun because of your classes.
Thanks Blake for teaching me all about weird creatures and getting me excited to make this- I learned about the concept of umwelten in your class and I'm so glad.
Thanks mum for buying me colored pencils. I made them real stubby by the end of this.
Thanks to all my friends for listening to me complain and plan and figure this thing out. Thank you for telling me what an egg should sound like and also that the bones needed to thwump more like bones.
In this animation, one sound effect is made by two pancakes being smacked together.
