- Rare video of The Red Devils performing Little Walter's classic "Just Your Fool" at the old King King club in Hollywood, California, Nov 30, 1992. The band was: Lester Butler (vocals & harmonica), Paul Size (lead guitar), Jonny Ray Bartel (bass), Bill Bateman (drums) and Mike Flanigin (guitar).

Thank you! I went to see the Blue Shadows before they changed their name to the Red Devils every Tuesday night at the King King. The fact that this footage exists is so extraordinary. This band was so great Mick Jagger showed up one night and jammed with them. It was such a great small club on 3rd and La Brea. The sound in there was perfect. This brought me back to my youth. Watching them play was like a drug for me back then. If I could go back in time, I've fantasized about being there again. Thank you again.
That is so awesome. I'm a huge blues fan and I have similar memories. I never saw them but I was fortunate to see the Blasters many times, William Clarke, Hollywood Fats..etc. Time slips away but you can still hold on to those wonderful memories.

Brilliant band.
Seen them at the old Jazz Blues club at 4th and Freemont in Vegas back in the 90s. RIP Lester, reckon that girl you sang about came after you afterall....

When I first heard him play over the radio back in the 90's I was struck. When he came to Holland I had to see him play, saw him and his band three times.....RIP Lester.
