I don't understand why this isn't a marketable sport in the US. Sooooooooo much better than women's basketball. Not even close.

japans passing skills and speed were on fire!!! 🔥🔥 and usa blockers were amazing always staying sharp and really penetrating the ball.

I watched USA and Japan match earlier USA actually had a better passing than here
Actually they do. As long as its Larson and Cook as outside hitters, passing is not a problem. Unlike other teams with 6 ft 2 and above wing spikers, USA has the best passers. That’s a legacy in their outside hitters and that’s one of the things they’re known for.
The Japanese are very familiar with each other.: this is the USA FIRST Time playing all TOGETHER… Great Job USA!!!! 🇺🇸 way to win 🏆

Announcer drove me nuts. USA wins three of four sets and all the announcer could talk about was how great Japan was. Japan is a good team, but was out classed.

Why Japan didn’t call up taller players? Japan always lost to opponents due to size disadvantage.
Typically east/southeast Asian ethnic groups have a lower average height compared to the rest of the world so it is harder for them to find taller players

I love watching female volleyball... 100% watch this over WNBA these ladies look like ladies and act like ladies. Attractive and athletic.... Please please promote this more and have it on cable TV more. These women have some really great power in their spikes pretty impressive.
Not to be rude, I'm also young so this just may be me.. but why do us women have to be attractive and "lady like" on the court of volleyball.. it's about the sport. Not about what's attractive or lady like. Coming from a young female volleyball player.

@@sanaylamorris8468he’s one of those who watches volleyball just to ogle at women. as a volleyball player myself, there are plenty of weird men who watch us just for our looks. they aren’t actually interested in our skills. very disheartening
@lilacfields no one is ogling them I just prefer to watch female sports when they are feminine and not manly. If I want to watch men then I will watch men not women acting like men. I see someone is mad when attractive women play sports and get more attention than you.
16:49 there was definitely block touch the finger even wiggled. How can they not see?!! This is cheating.
I think the replay on 16:06 is a much cleaner angle. I played it with a 3.0X zoom on .25x playback speed. The ball wasn’t even close to her fingers.
