Mate, i haven't even watched anything of your journey i just came across one of your earliest van build vids 10 minutes ago and thought I'd have a look at how much your videos and presentation skills hand come on. I do this sometimes when I'm immediately impressed by someone that looks interesting or has loads of potential for growth and development. I'm blown away, can't wait to watch the journey now but you should look back on what to me was 10 minutes ago and feel incredibly proud of yourself!
Thank you so much, I’ve just dabbled back though a few vids to see how far I’ve come… it’s hard to know when you’re doing well in this job & you made me see it, so thank you 🙏 🫡
You have a youthful energy that is infectious! And a way of describing the natural world that almost makes one feel like they are there experiencing it too. Keep up the great work. When you need down time take it and know that your high energy comes at a cost. Recharge. Grateful for your content. Oh and as a US old man it’s refreshing to hear your British terms (bits & bobs, etc.) Cheers!
Yes I've experienced the same thing a few times. Sweden is definitely my favourite for camping overlanding or motorhomes. It's so set up for it and it's much appreciated ☺️.
Nice videoo. True its not a holiday, its an adventure a task, a mission. It comes with its many challenges that you learn and grow from. Love it 👍

I drove across Norway and Sweden too, and have to say, contrary to popular belief, liked Sweden much more. Maybe because Norway was rain most of the time, but so many tourists everywhere. Everyone says dont go to Sweden there is nothing there, but despite lack of big mountains, i loved the nature much more, and Swedes were much more frendlier. I would love to go back, and spent more time in Sweden then.
Long distance road travel is very draining both physically and emotionally. I don't know how the long distance truckers do it. The Norway landscape was mystical and beautiful and it really stinks that they were hassling you about parking and enjoying it. With your hair and the background you were reminding me of a character out of Game of Thrones or The Last Kingdom. 😀 Looking forward to more adventures of Jake and Becky in Scandinavia. Stay safe and have fun!
I love your honesty Jake as I’m currently going through the emotions of deciding whether to chop the van in for an overland rig… Do you think there better suited for 1 person ?
Great video Jake, shame about the islands. Maybe they don't want people staying out in the wilds. Oh man I'd be so longing to being back in the van. Don't think them tents are for me haha. Loving the Adventure, not sure about Beck's choice of headgear 🩲😁 Never change Buddy, keep loving the Adventure. Love and Big Hugs 👊🙏
Scotland on steroids. Wow. So beautiful. You both have balls to travel in a small vehicle with not a lot of personal space but you will appreciate your own van more when you return to it I’m sure. Keep up the good work guys. Love your videos 👏👏👍✊
Hi hope you're having a better time in Sweden although Norway looked fantastic. Never been there personally but know people that have. They said it was very expensive to eat and the alcohol prices are off the scale
@@JakesJourneyMateSuch a bummer. On the one hand, I can understand that it's crucial to protect sensitive environments, but on the other hand simply declaring an entire country off limits to offroad trucks is completely ridiculous.
Sweden is completely different from Norway, if you like organized tourism...in Norway there is quite a distance in between. Luckily! Sweden are a lot of trees on a flat landscape, mil after mil...
Smashing it with these episodes buddy. Loving the effort you are putting in to what you do. My youngest brother lives in Malmö but as yet because of various events I haven’t been able to get over there to see him and explore Sweden. Hopefully soon before the next 1984 experience.
Lofoten is not something i recommend during tourist season. It is awful because of the roads and,the flow of tourists. And yes it is known that lofoten has problems regarding space to park etc. But really, its nothing but mountains narrow hell roads. And norway is shitty expensive.....better of making your own food over the fire😊
Thank you for watching! 🫡🤘

What a lovely positive comment.

Thank you for the honesty of van life. Too many just show the highlights, you are showing the emotional side as well.
I was thinking the same ❤
Really interesting journey and lovely fresh presenting style, thanks Jake
Thank you so much! 🙏

Thank you, for bringing us along to those fantastic Vistas.
Those mountain views!! Another great video Jake. Its great when you open up and share the real life ups and downs like that. Back to lovely Sweden! ;)
Authentic!
Stunning scenery I agree with you about the prices in shops there, lol need to take out a loan for food for 2 weeks there 😂

The further north you go the colder it gets.especially in the autumn or fall.👍🏴🇺🇸
Sorry hadn't quite finished. Phone playing up. Just wanted to wish you both all the best. Take care.x

That's a real shame to constantly have to move on and it being so expensive! Look forward to seeing more of Sweden then :)
Great video.
So similar to Haze Outdoors.
Not sure if you've seen his videos 🤔
It's also illegal to drive offroad in Norway I've heard.
Correct, another reason we decided to return to Sweden :)

Heard that about food in Norway, but that’s an absolute robbery. You were taxed buddy.
