How to close all base doors with a button

- Summary
This video tutorial demonstrates how to close all base doors with a single button press. The method requires specific electrical components and door controllers for each door.
Highlights
🚪 You can close all base doors at once using a button.
⚡ The setup requires electrical branches, switches, a heartbeat sensor, a button, and a door controller for each door.
🔄 When the button is pressed, the doors cycle between open and shut.
🚫 Don't place the button near the tool cupboard to prevent unauthorized access.
🔒 Door controllers need to be paired with the doors by unlocking them and activating the pairing process.
🔌 Additional doors can be added by daisy-chaining the power through the pass-through option.
🔊 Be aware that the process can be loud, especially with multiple garage doors. - Ігри
dude this is fire. thanks boss
Dude - Subscribed!!! Amazing tutorial, and i see you've even done a detailed version too! I just transitioned to PC from console and ive been loving all the power. Just worked out how to make a daylight sensor to auto turn your lights on at night! felt like a damn wizard! Keep up the great work. Im currently building a new base as we speak so will no doubt spend the next hour or so watching your vids for tips!
Cool video mate :)
this is clean but i wanna ask, if some doors are open and others are closed, is there a way to close all of them or would pushing the button only would alternate with the current of the state it is in? (ie if its open it would close and vice versa) cause in zome teams some like to close doors and some forget so wanting to know to see if this would work for teams like that.
Thanks
Not sure if they changed the garage door timings but I need to press the button twice to get all the doors to close if some where already closed?
What happens if one door is open or closed?
wont it open doors aswell las close them at the same time?
and if you wanted it to close all doors and not close some and open the rest how would you do that?
Brotha thank you so much... as a hardcore solo shit even I forget to close some doors before logging off an this is a game changer no more open doors this is awesome... can you do a video start to finish on a 4x4 from nothing to end game (all the hook ups) bcuz this was a little confusing for me... exp about the door and the door switch... would really appreciate it...
i will be real with you, i aint much of a base builder. but i can build a 6 triangle core base with all the doors and hook it up if you like?
@@Phlanka yes please

its up ready for you mate :)
@@Phlanka You're an absolute legend mate. Going out of your way to help someone.
Can you so it so they stay open and dont close ?
Until someone goes deep on u and ur door controllers open all doors just to make sure they’re all closed
U deserve way more subs and views than u have :)
Thank you, I believe they will all come in time.
Could u help me with one part idk y I hook up just like that my doors close one time n can’t open or close em again
ive not had that issue before.
with the circuit it shouldnt do it like you mentioned unless they have updated the electrics
Swap the button out for a smart alarm. If your dead you can still do it with rust plus app. Plus, if you get a kill notification while off, press that button (every time I say press the button i mean flip the switch or use rust plus app), and if you have a lot of doors open, they close. Way better.
if you have some doors open and some doors closed when you hit the button does it close them all or does it close the open and open the closed? if that makes any sense?
No, as it just removes the power to the door openers... Would have to give power to the closed doors to open them
Can I add two buttons ? the Idea ist. One near bed and the Other at enterce
yeah just use or switches to connect all inputs
Can you make it close only?
Hi mate, the when you press the button the door shuts and decides to open again , please can you advise ?
it should be the other way around, it should open and then close. did you follow the setup completely.
I tried this on rust console and not 1 door opened, but then for one of the branches you said “power out” but clicked branch out so maybe I did something wrong, and wouldn’t this set up consume power 24/7? ( nvm your awesome I’m just blonde) I’m getting power into my battery and still able to open these doors :D
What if I wanted to come home to my base. Click a button or switch and open all 200 doors (hypathetically). ONce they open, i dont have time to get through all of them before they close.. I need a way to open all my doors.. Leave them open, then click a button in the core to close em all.
You could maybe set up some sort of timer.
THANK YOUUU
Hey man - if you have time - id like to share with you how you can link this up with turrets and also daylight sensors in one chain :) Im no good at making videos maybe you can use the info
I'm going to be sharing a circuits as and when I learn them. I've just got a nice base down on console rust so I'll be messing with electrics quite alot on this wipe
@@Phlanka I’m pretty good with electronics if you need any behind the scenes help. It’s just like red stone in minecraft aha! Look forward to your next vids
Hey man it’s me Steve. I finally set up a YT channel. Just uploaded my first rust power vid would love to know your thoughts :)
why do you need all that stuff just the button and power works...?
because if raiders get near your button they can press it all they want. with the heartbeat sensor they need to be auth on your tc before the button works
Why the second AND switch? Can't you just calculate power to feed through from the first AND switch to all the doors? Sorry if I missed your explanation on the video.
NVM - I forgot HBHF only passes through 1 power!
Just hook a smart switch to a battery and the doorcontroller chain. Then let it open all doors. If you leave it on you can operate the doors as usual. When you turn it off it will close all open doors without opening the already closed ones.
cons: it costs you 1 power for each door permanently.
pros: it's super easy. Anyone can do it without knowing anything about electricity and no one not authed on TC can tamper with it.
@@michaelwilson6597 But button can, so you can set it up without the second and
There’s got to be a circuit that only closes all the doors in the base without opening them.
Modify 1 way door trap circuit
There is but it costs you 1 power for each door permanently.
Just hook a smart switch to a battery and the doorcontroller chain. Then let it open all doors. If you leave it on you can operate the doors as usual. When you turn it off it will close all open doors without opening the already closed ones. It just costs a lot of energy.
@@heriberthuber54 that is awesome and I need to try this sometime
Or you could just use a smart switch and not need all that wiring.
There's a better circuit, costs more but only closes doors. 1 latching sw in airlock fed 3pw, 1 latching sw in core fed 3pw, they feed an OR, the OR feeds one side of AND [fed pw for door count +3] output from this AND relay is branched 2pw goes to another AND relay input fed 3 pw, other side of branch feeds doors. the last AND relay I mentioned the output feeds a 3way splitter and 2 of the outputs go to switch off terminals on your switches.
5 branches, 2 ANDs, 1 OR, 1 splitter, 2 latching switches
I learned this circuit on console test branch so there was no latching switches when I learned it.
Does it open closed doors and does open doors close? Bro tbh my text confused me several times
What it does is send a unit of power to the door controller so if the door is open, it will instantly close it, but if a door is shut it will open it then instantly close it. All doors will end up closed
Only Problem is, if u want to use it as a panic button to close all doors during a raid, it opens the doors that are already closed once more and gives the raiders a split second chance to get in.. :D
That is true. But if you think about it then they are trapped in your base with boom on them. I mean I'd happily trap them inside so they don't run away with it lol.
@@Phlanka good point. I'll use this on the inner circle of the base. 👌🏻 thanks for the tutorial ❤️
how to make the door stays open?
You could swap out the button for a switch. So when the switch is on, the doors are open. When you turn it off the doors close
Use a switch it doesn’t cycle
If you did that would that not keep all your doors open when the switch is on?
why don't you just use smart switch xd
I learned this on console, there is no smart switch yet so I made sure all the electronics i used was cross platform.
Smart switch would still need to be near the HBHF so why bother. You want HBHF or anyone who gets to that button can press it.
For me people without tc can still close all the doors
Make sure you set the heartbeat sensor to only detect authorised then. That should fix it
Wouldn’t it open doors that are closed?
it closes then right after
@@cavxman8600 no it doesn't, there is no way to tell it to only close doors, it just inverts each door's state, so if it was open it closes and if it was closed it opens.
@@AXBA92 Dude you literally see it open and then close in the video... 4:50
