    In Maine, we have ONE power company. Just ONE for the entire state. You pay them there price or go without power. Is this Monopoly?

For many years, Windows held a near-monopoly, which limited competition and made it the dominant choice for personal computer users. This position allowed Microsoft to influence software standards and control a significant share of the market.
