You can set live weather separately from realtime. So, it would be the current weather where you are flying, but you can have it set to daytime.
but then you have night temperatures and conditions in daylight. isn't that?

I’ve been loving the hell out of the monster NX cub! You can get some awesome landing performance going full aft trim full flaps and throttle at idle! It comes in nice and slow and the smallest bursts of power keep it from popping down like an F-18. Not that it can’t handle it with that gear! Just don’t leave the trim at full aft when you go to pour on the coals for takeoff. You’ll slam the tail down hard!
2nd very decent freeware suggestion in 2 days, must download this as I have the Vans now (though have yet to take it for a good VR flight)! Great video, that was a very nice landing too coming in over those trees!

I've been binge watching Av Angel bush trip vids and... Your Alaska trip with Jeff was super informative and entertaining. I cracked up once I saw Jeff's miserable weather and no visibility. I had to include Got Gravel's Monster NX and Savage into my hangar. How can this be freeware? Not complaining but this is the most fun I've had on a sim (I'm hooked), and it is a direct result of the content on this site. Well done.

More quality freeware putting some payware cashgrabs to shame. Fun demo! I might spring for the Concorde though, a bit of a change of pace from this. :)
Someone needs to mod the Zenith to do that.I flew the monster NX last night in Glacier lake park Montana from MT61 and put it down on a postage stamp of land as there were no other places to land in this adjacent valley,amazing...........................

Yup, having gotten that frivolity out of the way, AvAngel, I'd like to know why you do that popping of flap thing at takeoff. Isn't it rather dangerous in real life flying??
Not dangerous at all, a routine technique in manual flap aircraft in back country flying to boost takeoff performance, you can often get airborne before the airspeed even comes alife on the dial :D

I think, I have spotted your deliberate mistake, You started out from 2U8 - Thomas Creek, and twice your called it Johnson Creek.
The fuel labels are blacked out for me in the default and Monster NXCub. Is this a bug for everyone or am I just lucky?
Same here. Known bug. I jumped over to the standard cub and drew a picture of the fuel switch with the correct labels. I have it on a sticky on my monitor!
How did you flip your plane back over when you crashed on that mountain? I thought when you crashed a plane, the flight is basically over.
You can turn crash detection off, it’s buggy anyway
Can you install payware aircraft if you are using the xbox series x, I've looked online for hours and found nothing someone help !!!

Yeah I think I called out the wrong name there lol, not 3u2... The high alpha approach was more to use the technique than needed :P I like doing it.... I wanted to see how short it would land.

You'll laugh when you see it. Look very closely at the prop, start and stop the engine a few times. It inherited a bug from the stock Asobo version.
Cockpit graphics look a bit 2d? looks like i am flying a cartoon? Economy paint model...? Photoshop or Blender? Still , its freeware so mustent grumble! Anyone can tweak the flight model...cant they? Its the Asobo Blender capability that pays $$$$
2d? not even remotely? its pretty nice in there, nothing looks 2d to me? idk Physical model is the exact same as the Asobo NX model
