Amazing very interesting. My mother was protestant. My father was Armenian Orthodox. Growing up I was very confused because both sides of my family would argue against each other regarding faith. I’ve been confused ever since, but now I think some light is being shed on the truth. The ancient churches are the true churches. This is exciting and I am happy.

We have read the Scriptures. Here it is for you. Jesus said to Simon Peter: "YOU are Rock (Kepha), and upon this rock (Kepha) I will build my church." The same word is used with no distinction. Thus, Jesus called Peter the rock AND gave him the keys of the Kingdom at the same time to demonstrate the position given to him.

In addition there is no early textual evidence for Peter being in Rome, I believe the closest time in theory was nearly 60 A.D. Even the often quoted Catholic Answers live, has to struggle to make the claim.
True Christianity is a religion which is true. It is not just "me and Jesus" but also consists of baptism, the Lord's Supper, bishop's, the Laying on of Hands, and so on.

You say that Jesus started the Roman Catholic Church and Peter was the head. When did this happen?? Matthew 15:25, Jesus replies: "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel." Matthew 10:5,6 “These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. 6 Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel “ So, the Apostles and Jesus were concerned (at that time) primarily with the “Lost Sheep”(Israel). Romans 15:8, Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision (Jews) for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob). (Establish the Kingdom) The Bible indicates that Jesus spoke only to two Gentiles. Your reference to Peter's affirmation is obviously out of context! About 20 years after Jesus' Death and Resurrection: Peter is still ministering to the Lost Sheep with James and John. Galatians 2: 7, Instead, they saw that God had given me (Paul) the responsibility of preaching the gospel to the Gentiles, just as he had given Peter the responsibility of preaching to the Jews. 8 For the same God who worked through Peter as the apostle to the Jews also worked through me as the apostle to the Gentiles. 9, James, Cephas and John, those esteemed as pillars, gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship when they recognized the grace given to me (Paul). They agreed that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised." A more believable choice would have been Paul because he was commissioned by God to minister to the Gentiles(present day Christians) and initiate the doctrine of GRACE.
Simon's name was changed b/c he was blessed through faith when he received the revelation, Peter had no faith. ...You are Peter is the end of the convo with Simon. The rest of the text is directed to all the disciples. Therefore, the conjunctive sentence, "and upon this rock..." refers to the last subject matter directed to the disciples. Peter isn't named for the rock unto which the Church is built. He's being mocked b/c he won't listen, learn, or teach. Everywhere Jesus chastises him for false teaching He calls him Simon to light the fact he's now without faith. Just read past Matthew 16. Peter is burning for causing God's children to stumble.
In Mt. 16:18-19, Jesus makes Peter the head of the church and calls him the rock. He even changes his name from Simon to Peter, which means rock. He even calls him the rock at other times as well (Jn. 1:42 - Cephas means Rock). Jesus traveled with the apostles hundreds of miles to Cesarea Philippi where there is a huge 500 foot rock. That is the exact spot that Jesus changed Simon's name to Rock. Name changes are significant in Scripture. When Jesus changes his name from Simon to Peter, it symbolizes a change in status and a change in mission (like Abram to Abraham and Issac to Israel, etc). Peter was receiving a special call to be the head of the church which is why he alone singularly received the keys of the kingdom alone. The keys come from Isaiah 22 and symbolize the primacy of authority over the whole household of God. Peter is mentioned in the bible 195 times. Saint John, 29 times, St. James 16 times. Peter does first miracle and the first speech. Peter receives the revelations from God. He has a special relationship with Christ who trains him. Acts 15:11. Peter alone settled the dispute. Lists of apostles are always Peter and 11. Peter and the others. Peter and the Apostles. He is always listed 1st and Judas last. Luke 5:1-10: Peter chosen for ministry as fisher of men. Luke 22:24-32. Leader of the brothers. John 21:1-17: chosen as shepherd of church under Christ. 😅😅 Peter is burning. Just in case you didn't read the rest of the new testament, Jesus restored Peter in John 21 and gave him charge of all of the sheep. That's why we see him as the leader in the new testament.

And let's keep in mind that it was the Catholic Church by the authority of God who put together the Bible in the first place. I don’t understand how you connect Peter with the Catholic Church. We (and I mean all) believers that Christ is the king, savior and creator that he died on the cross, to take all of our sins, was buried and rose on the third day. Is now sitting at the right hand of the Father are the church, not a building! Having faith in Christ is not a religion, it’s being a Christian.

Thanks for your thoughts, but you are mistaken. Jesus Christ founded the Church not the Bible. The Church which started before the Bible, compiled the sacred writings to form the Bible. So the Church had existed and guided Christians before the appearance of the Bible. Ask yourself what instructional guide did the Church rely upon during those early years? Christ clearly had prayed for His Church to be one, with a mandate to go out and spread the Word. Today, the Catholic Church remains the only Church fulfilling these prayers of Christ. The Catholic Church is the most universal and the same everywhere. No Christian sect can lay claims to any of these. The Church could not have started on a wrong footing and waited 1500 years to retrace its steps. Even after the So called "reformation", have they remained unity? Why do they continue to break? Because there is no truth in them. The Catholic Church has continued to remain one, with leaders traceable to the Apostles and Jesus Christ Himself. Born catholic? Protestants persecute Christ? Clearly you understand nothing if you believe you were born catholic just as a gay claims they too were born that way. So, since one does not agree with the RCC they persecute Christ? This must be why you have a rich history in persecuting, torturing & murdering those who would not agree with you. The RCC didn't come to be until around 313 ad due to the 2 Roman emperors one of which was Constantine. It was set up just as the evil Roman empire. Since the apostles the true church spread way before the RCC, it continued although later persecuted and continually murdered right up to the day of the reformation. You are walked away from that history & taught the RCC was from day 1. You don't need me to school you, you know very well that a majority of your doctrine, teachings, ceremonies, rituals & traditions are not inspired by GOD's Holy infallible scripture & that does not include the Apocryphal writings. The Jewish Temple in Jerusalem was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. The early Christians were Jewish but did not worship in the Jewish Temple as their religious affiliation was now Christian. Peter eventually left Israel and went to Rome by way of Antioch. Lactantius said Peter arrived in Rome during the reign of Nero (54-68 AD) and was martyred in Rome. Peter was the first Pope and has had 264 successors. God the Father sent Jesus, the Jewish Messiah to the Jews. Some Jews accepted Jesus and some rejected Him. The apostles and all the early converts to Christianity were Jewish.

That's why they were persecuted. So that statement about Catholicism being pagan will always contradict itself. Worship is for God alone. There is no idol worship in the Catholic Church. Images are prayer aids and teaching aids (especially crucial in the early centuries when most people couldn't read), and they are NOT worshiped.
The earliest Christians had images in the catacombs. That's where Christians had to be in the early centuries during times of persecution. God said don't make "graven images" to be worshiped like the golden calf. And we don't. Protestants shouldn't need rock bands and cappuccinos in their "worship services." That's worshiping creation more than the Creator and only serving oneself with entertainment and treats. And it's just the Catholic Church, not the "RCC". Protestants made that term up and in our Protestant-dominated country, it stuck.

No. It doesn't mean that we don't need the Bible, or that the bible is not the Word of God, it's just not the final authority for a Christian, the Church is. The Bible cannot tell you how to properly interpret it, but the Church can based on the authority Christ gave her. Hope that helps.

Read Gen 41:39-45. It's very comparable to Matthew 16:19. Peter had his name changed from Saul because the holy spirit inspired him to call Jesus "the Christ". Pharaoh changed Joseph's name after he "inspired by the spirit of God" interpreted Pharaoh's dreams. Then check out Isaiah 15:22, which is nearly identical to Matthew 16:19. The political office in Gen and Isaiah are identical and are second only to the king. Jesus is the king and the pope becomes second only to Him.

Yeah, but Catholics have gotten so far off track from the teachings of our Lord. Purgatory; not in the Bible. Making a deity of Mary; unbiblical (as we are to worship only God). Worship and praying to saints in heaven; strictly forbidden. Calling someone in authority Father; strictly forbidden as the Bible specifically tells us not to call anyone father because you have only one father in heaven. - Taking a vow of celibacy, especially if you burn with lust; Paul said not to do it, as it better for you to marry than burn with lust. Sin is sin according to scripture and all are detestable to God. - The human worship of the Pope as if he is Gods ultimate authority on earth, infallible, and much more important than average believers. No, he is a man that God has given authority to but he is not God. He is also not more important than the so called lowly servant of God. In fact, Jesus said the first shall be last and the last shall be first. He loves all equally. - Raping of Children; pretty sure fondling little boys is detestable to our creator. If it was a one off that would be one thing but boy, there is a lot of diddling going on in the Catholic Church. - Transubstantiation; the belief that you are actually eating the flesh and blood of Jesus. No, you are to do this in remembrance of him and it is symbolic of the covenant he made with believers. No where does it say Jesus is being eaten and drunken like a McDonald’s Happy Meal. There are many other things that they practice which are straight up taken from paganism but my fingers are getting tired and I don’t have the time or patience to list them all. In short, a believer and true Christian is one who follows Jesus. One who realizes that we are sinners, therefore imperfect and will never be worthy apart from Christ. Only one Man died for the sins of the world and those that pick up their cross, accept him as their savior and repent of their sins will be saved. Respectfully sir, in Matt 16 18 there is a play of words going on in the greek language. Peters name is Petros which translates to a stone (John 1:42), ie a small rock. While the "rock" which he will build his church on is the word Petra, which is a much larger rock like a cliff, something massive. So clearly Jesus is referring to himself in this verse (see also 1 Cor 10:4 where we are told Petra is referring to Christ) and not Peter, although the English translation may give that impression.
If you had watched the video, we answered the "play on words," of which there really isn't any because Jesus didn't speak Greek. He spoke Aramaic and it's clear that Peter is the Rock, espcially since Jesus changed Peter's name to Rock and gave him the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Jesus even calls Peter Rock in the New Testament. He addresses Peter as Cephas (as does Paul) which means rock.

I'd argue the Bible does mention the title "pope" - Pope comes from the word "papa" in Italian which means "Father" - If you go to Isaiah 22, Eliakhim when he becomes the Master of the Palace and is given the Key of the House of David, was to be a "Father"/"Papa"/"Pope" - In Matthew 16, Jesus gives Peter the Keys of the Kingdom, echoing Isaiah 22 meaning that Peter was to be a Father/Pope of the Church.

Jesus said, Peter was blessed because God the Father gave Peter the revelation of who Christ is, true believers are given by the Father through revelation of who Christ is. This Rock is a revelation from God the father, not a person. God through Christ is the church. Man is always trying to corner the market in business, and if religion.
In Mt. 16:18-19, Jesus makes Peter the head of the church and calls him the rock. He even changes his name from Simon to Peter, which means rock. He even calls him the rock at other times as well (Jn. 1:42 - Cephas mens Rock). Jesus traveled with the apostles hundreds of miles to Cesarea Philippi where there is a huge 500 foot rock. That is the exact spot that Jesus changed Simon's name to Rock. We agree Jesus is the ultimate rock and cornerstone. Some people say that Jesus is the rock so Peter cannot be. But 2 people can be the same thing in different ways. For example, in a vision chapter 2. It says the apostles and the prophets are the foundation. But in the book of revelation, it says Jesus is the foundation. It's not a contradiction, it's just different understandings. Jesus is the ultimate rock and cornerstone, but he clearly made Peter the head of the church when he gave him the keys of the Kingdom and a special authority.

He pointed people to honor God and God only. He spoke of Jesus as the messiah. He spoke of the good News. Not any other but the teaching of Christ Jesus. If God needed just another leader, why not maìntain the old jewish priesthood? Why bother to sacrifice His son? The point please? We have read the Scriptures. Here it is for you. Jesus said to Simon Peter: "YOU are Rock (Kepha), and upon this rock (Kepha) I will build my church." The same word is used with no distinction. Thus, Jesus called Peter the rock AND gave him the keys of the Kingdom at the same time to demonstrate the position given to him.

And that's the problem with demonic doctrine of Sola scriptura where everyone becomes their own God and despising the Holy Spirit by making up their own truth. You say that Jesus started the Roman Catholic Church and Peter was the head. When did this happen?? Matthew 15:25, Jesus replies: "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel." Matthew 10:5,6 “These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. 6 Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel “ So, the Apostles and Jesus were concerned (at that time) primarily with the “Lost Sheep”(Israel). Romans 15:8, Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision (Jews) for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob). (Establish the Kingdom) The Bible indicates that Jesus spoke only to two Gentiles. Your reference to Peter's affirmation is obviously out of context!
About 20 years after Jesus' Death and Resurrection: Peter is still ministering to the Lost Sheep with James and John.
Galatians 2: 7, Instead, they saw that God had given me (Paul) the responsibility of preaching the gospel to the Gentiles, just as he had given Peter the responsibility of preaching to the Jews. 8 For the same God who worked through Peter as the apostle to the Jews also worked through me as the apostle to the Gentiles. 9, James, Cephas and John, those esteemed as pillars, gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship when they recognized the grace given to me (Paul). They agreed that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised." A more believable choice would have been Paul because he was commissioned by God to minister to the Gentiles(present day Christians) and initiate the doctrine of GRACE.
Simon's name was changed b/c he was blessed through faith when he received the revelation, Peter had no faith. ...You are Peter is the end of the convo with Simon. The rest of the text is directed to all the disciples. Therefore, the conjunctive sentence, "and upon this rock..." refers to the last subject matter directed to the disciples. Peter isn't named for the rock unto which the Church is built. He's being mocked b/c he won't listen, learn, or teach. Everywhere Jesus chastises him for false teaching He calls him Simon to light the fact he's now without faith. Just read past Matthew 16. Peter is burning for causing God's children to stumble.
In Mt. 16:18-19, Jesus makes Peter the head of the church and calls him the rock. He even changes his name from Simon to Peter, which means rock. He even calls him the rock at other times as well (Jn. 1:42 - Cephas means Rock).
Jesus traveled with the apostles hundreds of miles to Cesarea Philippi where there is a huge 500 foot rock. That is the exact spot that Jesus changed Simon's name to Rock.
Name changes are significant in Scripture. When Jesus changes his name from Simon to Peter, it symbolizes a change in status and a change in mission (like Abram to Abraham and Issac to Israel, etc). Peter was receiving a special call to be the head of the church which is why he alone singularly received the keys of the kingdom alone. The keys come from Isaiah 22 and symbolize the primacy of authority over the whole household of God.
Peter is mentioned in the bible 195 times. Saint John, 29 times, St. James 16 times. Peter does first miracle and the first speech. Peter receives the revelations from God. He has a special relationship with Christ who trains him. Acts 15:11. Peter alone settled the dispute. Lists of apostles are always Peter and 11. Peter and the others. Peter and the Apostles. He is always listed 1st and Judas last. Luke 5:1-10: Peter chosen for ministry as fisher of men. Luke 22:24-32. Leader of the brothers. John 21:1-17: chosen as shepherd of church under Christ.
😅😅 Peter is burning. Just in case you didn't read the rest of the new testament, Jesus restored Peter in John 21 and gave him charge of all of the sheep. That's why we see him as the leader in the new testament.

Non-Catholics often overlook all this for their "simple Christianity" and "Bible alone" Christianity which is not found in Scripture. (Authoritative teaching and preaching Church IS biblical though. Mt. 16:18-19; Mt. 18:15-18; Mt. 28:19; Jn. 20:21-23; 1 Cor. 11:18-19; Eph. 4:11-12; 1 Tim. 5:17; 1 Thess. 5:12-13; Lk. 9:1-2, Lk. 10:16; 1 Thess. 5:12-13; and many more that could be listed).

And let's keep in mind that it was the Catholic Church by the authority of God who put together the Bible in the first place. The Man who admits to being a mask of deception is making shallow assumptions about the person in the video. What he means is "read my own personal interpretation of the Bible that contradicts the person next to me and his interpretation and contradicts the pastor down the street too." The person writing the comment above makes a lot of claims but offers no evidence or facts which means he is revealing his prejudice.
Truth is, there are 40,000 Protestant denominations today all claiming to be right and have the true interpretation of the Bible.
Any time someone says" JESUS SHOWED ME" you can know that Jesus didn't show them anything. All of these people with their own personal and subjective experiences. This was how whole religions like the Christian Scientists and 7th Day Adventists were started.

Thanks for your thoughts, but you are mistaken. Jesus Christ founded the Church not the Bible. The Church which started before the Bible, compiled the sacred writings to form the Bible. So the Church had existed and guided Christians before the appearance of the Bible. Ask yourself what instructional guide did the Church rely upon during those early years?
Christ clearly had prayed for His Church to be one, with a mandate to go out and spread the Word. Today, the Catholic Church remains the only Church fulfilling these prayers of Christ. The Catholic Church is the most universal and the same everywhere. No Christian sect can lay claims to any of these.
The Church could not have started on a wrong footing and waited 1500 years to retrace its steps.
Even after the So called "reformation", have they remained unity? Why do they continue to break? Because there is no truth in them. The Catholic Church has continued to remain one, with leaders traceable to the Apostles and Jesus Christ Himself. No. It doesn't mean that we don't need the Bible, or that the bible is not the Word of God, it's just not the final authority for a Christian, the Church is. The Bible cannot tell you how to properly interpret it, but the Church can based on the authority Christ gave her. Hope that helps.

Read Gen 41:39-45. It's very comparable to Matthew 16:19. Peter had his name changed from Saul because the holy spirit inspired him to call Jesus "the Christ". Pharaoh changed Joseph's name after he "inspired by the spirit of God" interpreted Pharaoh's dreams. Then check out Isaiah 15:22, which is nearly identical to Matthew 16:19. The political office in Gen and Isaiah are identical and are second only to the king. Jesus is the king and the pope becomes second only to Him.

Yeah, but Catholics have gotten so far off track from the teachings of our Lord. Purgatory; not in the Bible. Making a deity of Mary; unbiblical (as we are to worship only God). Worship and praying to saints in heaven; strictly forbidden. Calling someone in authority Father; strictly forbidden as the Bible specifically tells us not to call anyone father because you have only one father in heaven.
- Taking a vow of celibacy, especially if you burn with lust; Paul said not to do it, as it better for you to marry than burn with lust. Degrees of sin (mortal, venal, etc.) Who makes this stuff up?!?! Sin is sin according to scripture and all are detestable to God.
- The human worship of the Pope as if he is Gods ultimate authority on earth, infallible, and much more important than average believers. No, he is a man that God has given authority to but he is not God. He is also not more important than the so called lowly servant of God. In fact, Jesus said the first shall be last and the last shall be first. He loves all equally.
- Raping of Children; pretty sure fondling little boys is detestable to our creator. If it was a one off that would be one thing but boy, there is a lot of diddling going on in the Catholic Church.
- Transubstantiation; the belief that you are actually eating the flesh and blood of Jesus. No, you are to do this in remembrance of him and it is symbolic of the covenant he made with believers. No where does it say Jesus is being eaten and drunken like a McDonald’s Happy Meal.
There are many other things that they practice which are straight up taken from paganism but my fingers are getting tired and I don’t have the time or patience to list them all.
In short, a believer and true Christian is one who follows Jesus. One who realizes that we are sinners, therefore imperfect and will never be worthy apart from Christ. Only one Man died for the sins of the world and those that pick up their cross, accept him as their savior and repent of their sins will be saved. Much of what Catholicism is based on is ritual, man made rules and works not even found in scripture, and simply put Religious garbage designed to control. The instructions in scripture as to how we are to live is enough. Man piling more useless rules on the backs of believers is no different than what the Jewish leaders did during the 1st century. Jesus despised it then and I am pretty sure he does now.
So, yes the opening of the video is correct, Catholicism was the first but just because they were first doesn’t mean they are correct in today’s world. There is a reason why a bunch of Catholics broke away and started a reformation.

There is only one Catholic Church world-wide, as opposed to the 10s of thousands of Protestant denominations who cannot even agree, and the 10s of thousands of people like yourself who think they know it all and cannot agree and therefore have to condemn everyone else and prop themselves up.
@Sterling Crowne Those are not different churches lol. They all belong to the same universal Catholic Church. They are different "rites" within the church (meaning they may celebrate the Mass a little differently or in a different language depending on the rite), but they are all under the same roof and make up one Catholic Church.
@Sterling Crowne No, not all Catholics are Roman Catholics. Just Catholic. There is the Roman Rite which is a Catholic Rite in the church. But there is also the Syrian right. The Maronite right. The Byzantine right. And others. They all do share the same beliefs and are all under the Pope. But it's the Catholic church, not the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Rite is only a Rite. Not the whole church itself. Thus, the Catholic church is the original Church of Christ. As I showed in my video.

That doesn't make it the French Catholic Church. The Church is universal and applies to all people. There are Syrian Catholics, Marionite Catholics, Byzantine Catholics, and more. All of these rite are vaild and which is, though the bishop of Rome has a primacy, they make up the one Catholic Church, not reduced or restricted to one small area.

Respectfully sir, in Matt 16 18 there is a play of words going on in the greek language. Peters name is Petros which translates to a stone (John 1:42), ie a small rock. While the "rock" which he will build his church on is the word Petra, which is a much larger rock like a cliff, something massive. So clearly Jesus is referring to himself in this verse (see also 1 Cor 10:4 where we are told Petra is referring to Christ) and not Peter, although the English translation may give that impression.
If you had watched the video, we answered the "play on words," of which there really isn't any because Jesus didn't speak Greek. He spoke Aramaic and it's clear that Peter is the Rock, espcially since Jesus changed Peter's name to Rock and gave him the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Jesus even calls Peter Rock in the New Testament. He addresses Peter as Cephas (as does Paul) which means rock.

I'd argue the Bible does mention the title "pope" - Pope comes from the word "papa" in Italian which means "Father" - If you go to Isaiah 22, Eliakhim when he becomes the Master of the Palace and is given the Key of the House of David, was to be a "Father"/"Papa"/"Pope" - In Matthew 16, Jesus gives Peter the Keys of the Kingdom, echoing Isaiah 22 meaning that Peter was to be a Father/Pope of the Church.

He also said pharisees were sons of devil so that means he is their father. God was the father of the devil too but the devil chose to go the evil way. Jesus didnt abolish the use of the word father as a title He simply gave precedence to the Heavenly Father above all. That is my understanding.

The Constantine episode is misrepresented by many - the actual massacre of the early Christians and disciples could not continue - so the actions of Constantine was crucial and invoked by God - no born again church’s have a direct lineage to Jesus

No such thing ever happened. It never became the Roman Catholic church after Constantine, and they never accepted Pagan deities or Pagan Customs that contradict Christ in any way. The proof is that you can go back and read the writings of the earliest Catholics in the year 100, 200, or after 3:17 ad when Constantine came to power. Jesus said, Peter was blessed because God the Father gave Peter the revelation of who Christ is, true believers are given by the Father through revelation of who Christ is. This Rock is a revelation from God the father, not a person. God through Christ is the church. Man is always trying to corner the market in business, and if religion.
In Mt. 16:18-19, Jesus makes Peter the head of the church and calls him the rock. He even changes his name from Simon to Peter, which means rock. He even calls him the rock at other times as well (Jn. 1:42 - Cephas mens Rock).
Jesus traveled with the apostles hundreds of miles to Cesarea Philippi where there is a huge 500 foot rock. That is the exact spot that Jesus changed Simon's name to Rock.
We agree Jesus is the ultimate rock and cornerstone. Some people say that Jesus is the rock so Peter cannot be. But 2 people can be the same thing in different ways. For example, in a vision chapter 2. It says the apostles and the prophets are the foundation. But in the book of revelation, it says Jesus is the foundation. It's not a contradiction, it's just different understandings. Jesus is the ultimate rock and cornerstone, but he clearly made Peter the head of the church when he gave him the keys of the Kingdom and a special authority.

Did Peter started by claiming the building is a church? Did he claim to be the pope? Did Peter ask u to honor Mary instead of Jesus as primary? Peter is not catholic. He pointed people to honor God and God only. He spoke of Jesus as the messiah. He spoke of the good News. Not any other but the teaching of Christ Jesus.
If God needed just another leader, why not maìntain the old jewish priesthood? Why bother to sacrifice His son? The point please?
The thing I have against this teaching of catholism is simply the idea of praying to saints when Jesus had taught His people to pray directly to God. Why do we glorify people as though a vessel is more important than the maker?
