This is the best video on UA-cam! Thank you. I have a question…is there an optimum length? I have an 8 ft window to do, can a relaxed Roman work or is the flat Roman style a better choice. I can’t wait to dive into the rest of your videos.

Thank you :) Wow, that's a big window! How wide is it? If it's a single window, I think it will work. I'd go with wider folds for sure, and fabric that isn't too heavy. You also might consider rollers instead of plain screw eyes to reduce friction.

Contrast vertical pleats? As in a pleated balloon shade or a London shade? If so, the answer is not yet...but one is planned!
