I have those rocks and same pot. I never was fond of ponytail palm until I saw them on sale for 1.99 in Kroger. the other day. After I brought it home, it grew on me and I love it now. Your arrangement is beautiful.
Oh, I agree 100% on that & they really are a beautiful plant as well, I get a lot of enjoyment from them. I can't believe how tall they grow too! Holy Moly!! Have a nice day friend!
My Granny would smack me up side my head for repotting a plant in the kitchen....lol trust me it's happened!!!! I love these elephant foots my Absolute favorite!!! Mine has completely taken off grown huge in just a few years but I'm in sunny Pensacola FL basically can grow it on my porch year round it likes full sun!! Cool plant species for sure and very unique looking
I LOVE YOUR VIDEO❣{SMILE} Great Info and I appreciated watching you report yours, I was feeling a bit nervous about doing that part with ease; and after watching this, I know I can too :-) *Fun* *fact*, I learned that these plants can last for decades...even longer, within the right conditions. 😊💚*🙏🏼 P.S. When mine arrive, I am going to name "HER" GL🌸RI🌞US, If it's a "HIM"... MR.💮GEE🌞, Over time will truly* tell me, ☺❣
Mine is in the direct sun for half of the day, right in my kitchen window. But prior to that it was in my living room with indirect sunlight and it did perfectly fine there. My best advice is to try it in a spot for a week or two and see how it adapts.
There is drainage on the bottom of the pot that can be opened or closed off. But because I only add in 1/4th cup of water every 2 weeks, drainage isn’t a issue!
Hi Courtney, happy holidays ❤️ I love plants but find I have trouble with keeping palms inside, so this might be helpful especially knowing there is soil specifically for these types of plants. Hope you are well. Also totally unrelated but I'm like d*** Boston rob is kinda hot 😂
Wow looks so good! I am borrowing the rock idea, I never would've thought of that. Thank you 😊

I was the same way. Once I got it home and styled it, I loved it. And still have it in this pot with the rocks!
I love the addition of the rocks.
Sweet, I didn't know exactly how to care for these lovely plants & it's awesome that they're low maintenence! Thank you for the valuable 411!
Yes they are very low maintenance, they are one of my favorite indoor plants!

So glad that my video could help! Mine is still going strong, and still in this pot!
Does it take long to grow to this size? You mentioned 2 yrs?
You're a good plant Mommy.
I just bought one today, and I only have east light, should they have direct sun or just light.

@@CourtneyWithLove Thank you very much! I love this plant, it is fluffy and beautiful and full of personality, hope I can treat it well.💕
What about the drainage ?

@@CourtneyWithLove is this plant still alive now?
Yes, it is! Going on almost 3 years that I have had it!
@@CourtneyWithLove is your ponytail palm still alive? Do you water it 1/4 a cup every 2 weeks Biafra winter?
Yes it is still alive! And no, during its growing season I water it once every 2 weeks. When not in grow season, I water it once every 4 weeks.
