There are a couple of 2000-3000 feet detached or freeholds partitioned into 10, 12 units for student dormitory up for sale. Newly furnished. Not Syrian style. Near York University & UT Scarborough neighborhoods. We trust in the inability of Canadian government to do anything, let’s capitalize on that.
I laughed at the promises. They don’t own the construction companies that are so backed up, I can’t get a new roof on my house. Good luck getting investors to build this stuff. It’s not the government’s money. The “tiny homes for homeless” the millions they promised. Every community doesn’t want it. They don’t want it beside the schools, the nursing homes. Drug addiction and mental health issues with this community isn’t wanted in residential areas.
canada is falling apart at the seams right now. so much of our economy is merely real estate and government too. things are going to get bad as more and more who locked in great rates struggle with renewals and renewal rates over the coming 2 years. this should have a huge knock on effect
We arent building jack shit. Houses in oakville cost 2.5 mill by the way. In the 90's oakville was always a nice high end lakeshore area, but there was afoordanle smaller houses there too. The townhouses are 1.5 mill now. I love burlington and oakville. I rented a room burlington for $980 a month like 20 years ago. It was more expensive back then. I used to do landscaping in oakville but lived in hamilton because the rent was cheaper. In 2012 it was too expensive everywhere and I moved to alberta.
25% of Canadians are now living in poverty Canadians on the streets and we’re just letting in tons more. It’s ridiculous you guys are totally right.😢
