Setting> apps¬ification > apps > setting button > app links > all installed apps should be changed to `do not supported links`... Plus u need to remove any apps such as cleaner that provide ads.. Here's an idea: We watch the ads, note the company advertising, contact the company and tell them we will never do business with them because their ad was forced on us. If enough of us do this frequently enough, maybe they will pressure Google to stop it.

if it doesn't work, that means you have multiple accounts, and you are still signed in to your first account. so what you have to do is you have to configure it to the account you are currently using, and try this method again. worked for me :D
Guys for those where this video doesn't worked. I had similar problem. I found one app which was not visible on my phone screen but visible in setting -> Application. After removing it everything goes well.. No ads at all.. check your recent apps installed in setting and not on your phone desktop...Cheers
I got a ZTE and I went to Settings>Google>Google account>Data & personalization> (scrolled down until I saw) Ad personalization> (signed in) and turned it off. Hopefully it goes away after that, I literally just found mines by accident and non of the videos helped me out with my phone. Hopefully anybody with a ZTE sees this.

it worked for the 1st time, all ads were removed, but after a day or so they came bak and worse than ever, now when i try doing the same procedure again, out of 136+ ads 60 of them still remain and couldnt be op out, and theyre popping up more frequently than before i tried removing them..

UPDATE - google has done everything possible to force people to watch video ads. They changed the browser multiple times after people have come up with solutions. Proves how much google cares about customers. Not saying ads should go away but forcing people to watch video ads???

Hi there, Here's how i could fix it in my own way by coincidence, **(Android) NOT Pc** Here's what you should do, follow these steps and you'll get ride of those Pop-up ads and banners too if there's any. 1 - When ads pops up, just click on it. 2 - You are now on the AD page. 3 - try to multitask all the windows just as if you would like to end up all the currently running apps. 4 - Now it's time for the last bullet : You swipe down in order to visually figure out which window is actually displaying your last AD page, then simply hold press icon on top-left, info icon (i) will appear at the top right. click on it, now you are at the App info windows. 5 - Last : Uninstall and there you have your phone clean. Thank me after fix, kind of a high five or shaking hands. Have a great day folks ;-)

Solution that helped me: go on settings-->click on apps --> there should be a blank app or a unnamed app, just click on the and uninstall :)

I did the exact same thing and I still get ads. Not as much as before but I still get them. It's so frustrating!!!!
