Hi Gurpreet, thanks for the informative videos, I have some questions, i will be staying in Bremen but also planning to apply at Hamburg (which is only an hour away), so my question is: 1) if i do my Anmeldung at Bremen, but got a job at Hamburg, can i switch my Anmeldung at Hamburg in order to apply a Hamburg ABH (visa conversion)? 2) I read somewhere that ABH (visa conversion) can only be processed at same city where Anmeldung is 1st registered, then it seems we are stuck in applying jobs at only 1 city? correct me if Im wrong? what if i decide to move to another city after 1-2 months, can Anmeldung be changed over to that new city? thanks for your help
Thanks Gurpreet. Very informative video. Had a query on does someone on jsv need to stay either in hotel or airbnb until they find a job or can they book furnished apartments as well ( since it requires work contract docs)?
Hi Navya, thank you. Well some websites like wunderflats,Habyt, homelike, etc don’t need a working contract so you can still book them. All the best! Regards, Gurpreet
Thank you very much for making such in-depth video. Really appreciate your efforts. I had one question but the same question someone already asked. It was regarding on JSV without job contract how can we apply for flat accommodation. Hopefully those commented list of site will help us!! Once again thanks
Hi..thanks for the video. I have a query particularly related to people looking for housing from home country. Is is possible for them to get a Schufa credit score while taking the subscription (since they have not been to Germany and rented any property before? Thanks in advance.
Hey Gurpreet, Thanks for such valuable content. Amazing job. Would this be a good idea to get job seeker visa first and then explore jobs from my home country itself. And once I have a job offer, then I make a move to migrate ? Or, I move to germany having left my current job, and then explore there. Please note: I'm into Data engineering profile with around 8yrs exp.

You don't need accommodation when applying for job seeker visa/ chancenkarte visa. I got my chancenkarte visa without it.

Hello,
No, that’s not possible in my opinion.
May be initially you should try booking a place without schufa
