One of my favorite of your videos so far! Sarah, what a lovely example of not only teaching your daughters how to take care of the home but working along side them. You’re creating wonderful memories for them. Their homes may look different from yours when they’re grown but the godly principles you are teaching and sharing with them is a true example. It’s so obvious that you love your home and role as a homemaker. A Big shout out needs to go to your husband, Titus as well. Because he fulfills his role as a godly husband and provides for his family as he does, his leadership in your home both spiritually and as a husband and father are to be acknowledged as well. This world isn’t always in favor of living a positive Christian family lifestyle but your videos show that it’s not only possible but is happening before our very eyes. May The Lord continue to show his favor to you and your family. Keep sharing my sweet friend your truly inspiring and creative ideas with us! Blessings!

My Mom worked full time and then some. My Parents owned their own business which requires lots of time. She always came home and worked on our home, did laundry, cooked and spent time with all six of us Both my Parents always seemed to have time for us and as an adult I’m not sure how they were able to give so much time to six children. I have beautiful memories of working with her in our home and her organizational skills are something I use daily. ~ Janet 😘

I’m a huge fan of soapstone! Black is by far the best kitchen benchtops around! My dear only brother and his lovely wife have soapstone benchtops and sink in their horse farm kitchen. Of course the sink is quite heavy. I couldn’t afford the real thing in my humble kitchen so I had Formica soapstone benchtops installed.

I thought I shared myself making my starter on this vlog, but maybe it’s on the one coming up in a couple weeks? I use about a half of cup of warm water, and mix in a cup of APF unbleached with a bit of rye in it, and mix it. I keep it very thick. Keep in a warm spot, and discard every day, half of it, and repeat. I hope this helps.🥰

Hello Sarah,we have recently renovated our kitchen and also considered soapstone ,however ,we went with a leather finished granite that resembles soapstone with a more matte finish,in coffee brown(which looks more black)Its much easier to maintain than soapstone and quite a bit cheaper. We just love it,its so beautiful. Also, I used to mix the olive oil with Bragg's apple cider vinegar and honey and it was delicious😋Love your calm and cozy videos❤

I raised 3 boys who are hard workers and provide well for their families because of the example their Daddy showed them. My husband always a hardworking, he helped me out when he wasn't working, and was a hands-on Dad. They definitely took after him. Their wives are blessed indeed.

How'd the cleanse go? Is the last night olive oil and lemon juice before bed?
I have a gall bladder kidney cleanse with 3 days of fasting and just drinking apple cider and distilled water, then doing a cup of EVOO and the of juice half a lemon before bed on the 3rd day. Lying on the right side with a pillow under your hip to help gravity move the gall stones/kidney stones into the bladder to exit the body first thing the next morning.

Its awesome that you teach your girls to be Godly wives, i only wish all mother felt the need to do the same. The one statement you made that is so so true.. they learn by example! Even when we teach them things if we don't set and lead by example its really not doing much good. I've seen so many young kids come thru my home or in school with my kids when they were young, follow the examples their parents led and it wasn't pretty, and so sad. They see their parents doing things of the world so that's what they do. The word says if we teach and guide them and they choose to go astray, they will return. I know that to be a fact! My kids are grown and have their own kids, they were led and taught by the word of God. They both took wrong turns but praise God his word is true!🙌 Keep teaching those babies right mama, i know you lead by example!!😊(didn't mean to peach a sermon😄)

Teaching the girls to cook and clean is good. In this day and age though they should have a career. So they can be financially independent. What if the marriage doesn’t work out, and then where are they. No real skills for todays workforce, how will they live. You can’t today just depend on a man to take care of you. Today most couples even both have to work, just to afford to live properly.
