Hi, would this be the problem on my ion?,it is exactly the same on the video. What happens is that I plug it in and it turns on for a second I can hear sound of the radio station and then I just doesn’t sound at all, still the speaker is on. Idk 🤷🏽♀️ should I change the battery or you think it’s another problem?
I’m sorry that the Tech Stop has not replied to you. The creator, Joshua Smith, was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident in April of 2021 at the age of 19. We miss him so much.
The dot to the battery won’t budge! I tried leaving the screw in and even with a pair of pliers couldn’t budge it. Help! Btw it’s an ion rocker and the door panel has six screws.
Im having the same problem. Of course he didnt answer your question. How did u get the door off? I dont want to ruin the screw holes and scratch it up anymore then I already have with his method.
@@kinetic-kutz671 I used a putty knife as a wedge. Hammered it in the crack and pulled. I finally got the door open. I had to do the same thing to get the battery out. It’s now working great!
@@joannawalker5609 I got the cover off and damaged it a little but was able to glue it back ok. The battery was soo old it had swelled up and was extra stuck. I tried everything from banging it from other side. That broke a plastic piece thats kinda important. I sprayed wd-40 into crack andvtried pulling on the metal electrode to no avail. Moved a few millimeters on one side. Then I somehow had the genius idea to take a pointy screw and screw it halfway into the middle of the battery. Then I was able to pull straight out by grabbing the petruding screw with big pliers. Worked like a charm!! I thought there was no way I was getting that thing out. Thank god my brain still has a few tricks up its sleeve. 😝😝😝

If you want to go pick one up...you can get one from Batteries Plus if you have one near you. I just bought a Duracell version from them for $32.99
