    You can fit an Asus TUF 4070ti, an Nvidia FE 4080 or either of the AMD 7900 models in this case with this motherboard but without the bottom fans, which are totally unnecessary given how well those stock coolers perform plus the 1" of additional airspace below the bottom of the case that the GPU cooler can draw from. The Thermalright PA120 air cooler and a 5-pack of Arctic P12 PWM-PST is all you need for cooling the 7950, swap the 2 fans on the cooler with the P12's and install the other 3 on top bringing fresh air in which will put air into the CPU and the backside of the GPU... leaving the stock Prime fan installed to push air out the back.
    In the BIOS, jump into Advanced mode and then the Tweakers tab, select PBO and select the Enhancement / 80c or 70c option... you are leaving almost nothing on the table performance-wise (the 90c setting is actually faster than the AMD 95c default) and then just adjust your fan curves. The P12 fans are whisper quiet but move air through the fin stacks on the cooler better than the stock fans so the whole system should be nice and quiet even under load with either PBO setting enabled.
    With this solution you have no loss of airflow through the rad to cool the CPU, meaning more fresh air in the case for the CPU, plus you gain that 25mm x 360mm chunk of airspace without the rad and no hoses to deal with. Vertical clearance is not an issue for the dual tower coolers I've used in the case including the taller Deepcool AK620.

    • @TheYuppiejr
      @TheYuppiejr Рік тому +1

      @@KleoYan If you set up enough fans bringing air into the case you will create positive pressure and reduce dust in the case. With the AIO setup you have going and only one rear exhaust you have negative pressure and are pulling dust in through all that mesh. You may want to consider flipping the fans on your rad to a pull configuration or even sandwich them between the case and the rad blowing air through it to create positive pressure, improve your CPU cooling headroom and give the other components in the case a bit of extra airflow.

    I like your videos, you explain things really well, thanks! One thing I realized *after* getting all the parts (still waiting on the RAM), the PSU exhaust is inside the case. It was bugging me a bit, but I don't see anyone mention any excessive heat problems due to this, so probably not worth worrying about? ;) I also have a 360mm AIO with 3 fans in exhaust position (blowing air out of the case). So the fan that's near the top of the PSU should pull the air out as it comes out of the PSU. I really like the case (got the black all-mesh version) so hopefully all the temps will be good.

If air cooling or using a 240 AIO then you can fit max GPU length. Luckily the 7900xt is about 3/4 of an inch shorter then the PSU cage so I could mount it any any position. • @KleoYan
      @KleoYan  Рік тому

      Hi Phone Lip, welcome to my channel. In my honest opinion, I don't think is a good idea to have PSU at lenght of 180mm long.
      The GPU will fit but for the PSU, you might have a tight squeeze and the 360 AIO, depending on the thickness of it. you might have an issue to plug the extension power plug to your PSU. in additional to it. it might fit both but your AIO hose cannot be place at the front, it has to be at the rear. ua-cam.com/video/p-dyGeduWlw/v-deo.html

      Hi John-Miles Morton, welcome to my channel. You might want to inspect your motherboard if it's bent. If not, then check with your seller about your case, might be factory error. Most will fit nicely and I would advise to push or force the mobo in place or align to the standoffs.

    Maybe if you could use a 280mm a AIO you could move the PSU shroud higher and this could allow for bigger GPUs.

      @KleoYan  Рік тому

      Hello Roland Villegas, welcome back. You are right about having a shorter size Liquid AIO, Infact a 240 or 280 with the same thickness will be able to bring the PSU shroud up. 240 should not be a problem but for 280 it depends on the height of the motherboard side vrm heatsink. As it might block the 280 radiator. Alternative is to do aircooling. Thanks for the feedback 👍

      @@Markesamwasfy Hi Mark, let me be honest with you. I normally stay away from argb fans. I have not tested the Corsair LL 120 fans but if these are the only two fans to choose. I will go for the SL120 V2. Reason is, it's 28mm thick, which provides additional percentage of airflow (longer chamber style). Next, the SL120 V2 runs only at 0.17a as compared to Corsair LL120 which is at 0.30a . I always choose lower ampere fans (drawing less electrical current) and produces better airflow or static pressure.
