This was a strange Eurovision. My personal favourite was Finland but Serbia was brilliant too. Some very strange songs. Only 7 western/northern European country in the final and none of them made the final on merit. Sweden and Ireland due to good results the previous year, Finland last year's winner and the big 4.

İn Armenian song they were showing the traditional HAYAT AĞACI(PRAY TREE) of ANATOLİA.Maybe our jury was affected by this emotional show.Regards from TÜRKİYE
Aaaah, those days with the strong, impermeable eastern block. How much I miss them (NOT). And after the 80s, the 90s this is a laughingly embarassing caricature of a Scandinavian block. It was like a fish slowly dying helpless out of the water.
