First off, I want to give a massive thank you to all of the lovely comments and the support you gave us on our last role swap cover of Suffering! This was just a fun idea I didn’t know would gain as much popularity as it did!! SO - per everyone’s request…DIFFERENT BEASTS ROLE SWAP! This one was slightly more challenging than Suffering since wife was so rhyme and rhythm reliant, but I think the lyric changes worked out pretty well!!
It was also cool to try to sing this in the POV of Penelope and less Odysseus, characterizing how SHE would sound when she’s angry or cocky ahhhh. I once again want to say thank you to the incredibly talented Barry for joining me as Ody! Those harmonies?? The SCREAMS?? Please go check out this channel!

Part of me is wondering whether Odysseus and Penelope are the only two who swap roles. Imagine a more creepy Antinous version of love in paradise, capturing the dread of being stuck on an island with someone who immediately decides you’re destined lovers and won’t take no for an answer. Conversely, a Calypso version of little wolf where she’s DARING Telemachus to try and fight a literal goddess.

At least in my role swap series, Odysseus and Penelope are the only swapped roles!! The main difference is that the main crew from the original is there ALONGSIDE any women who wished to fight as well!

An interesting fact in that Penelope is daughter of a Draid, Periboa.
So there is a chance she wouldn't even need to use beeswax to her ears to resist the Siren's calls.
There's a chance she would be immune to them.
