Part of me is wondering whether Odysseus and Penelope are the only two who swap roles. Imagine a more creepy Antinous version of love in paradise, capturing the dread of being stuck on an island with someone who immediately decides you’re destined lovers and won’t take no for an answer. Conversely, a Calypso version of little wolf where she’s DARING Telemachus to try and fight a literal goddess.
At least in my role swap series, Odysseus and Penelope are the only swapped roles!! The main difference is that the main crew from the original is there ALONGSIDE any women who wished to fight as well!

Also, I love how Penelope is almost teasing the siren Odysseus with the "you didn't notice that your friends got snatched" line, but also then sounds honestly ANGRIER than Odysseus in the original! 11/10
Ahhh thank you so much!! “Husband” was definitely the more fluid line switch instead of trying to find a way to keep the word “real” in there haha!! And double thank you about the line performance! I really tried to keep this performance as Penelope singing and less trying to copy Odysseus so I’m super glad it was noticed!!

@LoganneDigmaVO lol, I'm one of the friends. We've been trying to figure out "I made a mistake like this" and how to convert it to work with husband, and you found an amazing way! We are loving these covers!
I have no idea why I didn't get the notification for this but it's amazing (again, analysis comment will resume shortly my brain is mash potatoes) Edit: also remember the "Epic but it's a dark magical girl anime" thing I mentioned in your cover of 600 Strike? I've been playing around with the designs and WHY DOES THE ART ON THIS LOOK ALMOST *EXACTLY* LIKE MY "WARRIOR ODYSSEUS" DESIGN OMG (except mine has more magical-y bits, short hair and different colors) o.O

And yes, in case you want to know, fem!Ody still has the short, messy hair, slightly more tan skin and, when she's transformed, multicolored gradient eyes (gotta juice the anime aspect lol). Her physical aspect is very reminiscent of Haruka Tennōh but shorter. The suit looks pretty much like the image except the bodice is white-silver (you don't need real metal when you have magic lol), the skirt is silver and blue, and the cloak is a dark blue and fastened to her shoulders instead, with the owl brooch in the center of her chest. Her weapon can shapeshift because of Odysseus being crafty and using more than one. She's also got a belt made of crocus flowers around her waist (it's because she's related to Hermes and they're consecrated to him. They glow when he shows up to help!) She's also got other accessories like a forehead tiara, high laced boots, and stuff that comes with power-up events like a gold moly flower on her belt after WYL, bubble rings a la Sailor Cosmos because of Aeolus (they're connected to the bag), and a couple others. She also has a Queen Odysseus form! Sorry for yapping, I got too invested lol. But yeah I was trying to find a balance between "recognizably a magical girl" and "Greek warrior" and I was so stoked seeing the art because I felt like it was working xD
