Nice you gave me an idea that in 2012r2 we don't have an option for shared databases for rdha configuration.
I would like you to configure shared database there is a slight difference.

So speaking to an MS Engineer; they stated that HA was not referring to redundancy, but instead MORE available connections. Vikas here in this video mentions HA as it refers to failover (redundancy). I am confused.

you can configure POC and test... as i know from HA means High Availability. and as per me it will support if once CB goes down.

Yes, You can create SQL Cluster or SQL Virtual Machine in HA (Hyper-V or VMWare) are good to have.

No Bro, If SQL fails / dies / is damaged, then the user will not be able to log in to the RD Session host server
