As a man, it can be difficult to express emotions that can be seemingly triggering but to have a lifetime partner lift you up in times of unsureness or difficult moments is clearly safety.. You are so right.My ex-husband treaded.me like a dog after I got sick.Inbsicknwss and in health was alien he told Mind you I was on bed rest from 5 months until delivery with he's only child.The day after my baby was born one month early my best friend my grandmother died. I went into a deep depression. it was postpartum on top of grieving very hard.He cheated and left me.Let the house me and the 5 five kids lived in get foreclosed on.Evently he married the side chick.Therw was much more. But what I've learned is God never left my side.Im stronger and better.Im wiser.Ive learned to never dim my light for an insecure man.Some of us do this at times to make a man feel good .A real man will love your strand add to it.So it was another lesson I learned. Even as we age remember we're never to old to learn. Now all of the kids are grown .It's my time. I'm enjoying living my way.Iask for nobody's permission. God is good and that's who I need to please.At 50 it's true what I remember hearing on an Oprah show from the panel of woman this age,you don't play games with men.Its true. I'm dating again and when they come with their stories I walk away

I’m 46 years old and I’ve been rejected and pushed aside but I’m not innocent either, I’ve hurt a man before and asked for forgiveness because I didn’t love him but I loved people who didn’t have an interest in me only used me for opportunity, I have prayed and asked for forgiveness for what I’ve done and the parts I’ve played in things, I just pray before I leave this life that I do find someone that I can be blessed and happy with for the rest of my life, I hope God willing that marriage is in the cards for me even when I turn 50.
I have somewhat of a similar history. I always considered myself a tortured soul because of how much hurt I've experienced. And the kicker is that I followed all of the "rules" and never chased guys; never moved too fast and spotted the red flags. Yet, I still ended up being lead on and rejected. Then the ones who probably would be great to me don't hold my interest. It's not worth being with someone just because they seem like a sure thing. You have to be attracted to them and want to return that love to them that they give to you. Maybe going through all of this means that we are being prepared for the right one, at the right time, that will last for the rest of our lives no matter how old we are. I don't have all of the answers but I always think there is a reason for everything that happens.
It is So possible. Stay open to love. I got married at 45 so hold on to your hope.

You will, just trust God and don’t put a time limited on God. God has already forgiven you now you need to forgive yourself. Brokenness leaves us feeling like this. I’ve been marry twice and I was feeling ashamed to love or be loved again. I’m ready and made my piece with God about it.

Fear is enough to make a child keep quiet even from the person(s) that could potentially save them. This sticks with you forever even if you've "healed". Your never completely healed, your excepting that this happened. It lies in the darkest pit of the soul never to be brought up again. Fortunately for Kenny he has a beautiful ray of light, his wife Faith to cover that darkness. #SAFETY❤️🙌🏽💯

I am a big fan of Judge Faith. She embodies all that I feel a woman should be. Not going to lie, when she married Kenny I was a protective friend in my mind. Now that I see them together and interact that feel they are made for each other and I'm so glad she found her soulmate! This was a great interview.

Lord I just wanted to cry when I heard what has happened to KL as I am a 4 time SA survivor as a child. I am now 49 and thank GOD he kept me and I did not destroy myself because of what happened to me. I applaud his wife for understanding and still loving him even though he went through a horrific incident in his life.

Judge Faith said it! She said it's hard to fall in love at a certain age because you've been through it all, I can top that, I can't even imagine falling in Love and I'm also very very content with my 3-year "drive by"(who is bout 13 years my Jr) there comes to
"Visit" me couple times a week, we have crazy chemistry and lots of fun, yet, I have absolutely no interest what he does on the outside of my door.... I have no stress, and no drama, it works for me, and in case you're wondering Im probably close to 10 years older than Tamron and Faith, late 50s..... One other thing I like to mention, her some mention the way they were raised, I was raised both my parents 38 years of marriage until my dad died.... Sounds wonderful to those who didn't have that type of childhood, but the part they miss is, since my dad was my mom's one and only, she has zero advice or experience to offer when it comes to men, js. .... btw, just for the record, my views on relationships, I my add, though my experiences have me in burnt out mode, I'm also woman enough to admit that isn't healthy to unpack any of this baggage on another human being

Let me first say that I'm a huuuuge fan of Kenny Lattimore's music. I think he is so underrated as an artist and doesn't get the recognition that he so deserves. Watching this showed me that not only is he an amazing artist but that he's an incredible father and life partner to Faith. They're outlook on love, relationships and marriage is a testimony. They are both extremely lucky to have one another to share life's journey.

This clip meant a lot to me. I myself was a victim as a child. I got married for the first time at 22 and all kinds of red flags appeared. I got divorced in 2007 and remarried in 2017. I'm so glad that I waited and put my past baggage behind me. I believe Faith is meant for Kenny. They look so good together and they hold each other up. I just love that! ❤️

I love their story not only by words but action. If you watch their body language you can see how she is a strong rock. You can see how emotional he was getting and reaching out for her hand for comfort and nurture. She doesn't give in to that fear she pulls and holds her own hands. She holds her owns and lets him be a man hurt but not afraid or feminine. I think with time he will be her rock as the roles are shifted now with LOVE. Even though my parents were married for 60 years until the passing of my father this past June 8th from colon cancer, my mother would always say, when we were younger, that if for any reason my dad and her were not together, be it thru death/divorce, that she'd never date or remarry until her 3 girls were out of the house because she'd never bring a man in the house to molest either one of us!

The judge blew me away and said you can be good in the good times, but even in bad times Kenny continued to do right by her. Those 2 have a solid relationship 👌 👏. The fact he said his molestation started at 5 and he took the time to guard his son even though he was still preyed on makes him not only a strong dad but a strong man in his adversity of going through a drama like that. He is wonderful and I wish them ❤ and success in their union together
