Very cool, greetings from Indonesia all my brothers
Great video! Cheers from a fellow Newfoundlander from Corner Brook. Spent lots of days like that over the years. I'm 65 now and the first time I hunted partridge I was 14 years old; my dad took me to a place called Long Hill in Lark Harbour, NL. What an awesome day that was! Got a bunch of birds, had a boil-up, and the view over the land and the salt water was unforgettable!
Nice
Newfoundland! Beautiful. Reminds me so much of Scotland.
A great way to spend a Saturday morning!!
Another great video your camping skills are the best, I,ve been going back to your first videos and trying to get up to date, they are all enjoyable.

One of my favourite videos to date.Really enjoyed this one.
Glad to hear it!
I've prepared the same breakfast. Good on the trail. Pro (eating) Tip : soak (or cook) the dried fruit in the hot water you use for the oatmeal, it livens the fruit up a bit. Great video!

Bane Jelenko Don't see a problem. Won't be enough of you keyboard warriors to see them from home.
That area is where my family is from. Scott’s. I live in NWT. Hunt ptarmigan all the time. I do still miss Newfoundland. Great viseo
Very nice. A great experience. Not many bulls left like that big fellow.
Good on ya by'. Nice camp! Jeez, I miss The Rock.
Just found your channel ! Great stuff thank-you. I have a cottage in NL but couldn't get to it this year because of the lockdowns so your videos help ease my sadness lol. My favorite province !

that's what i call a awesome trip. nice shooting you got a few birds that's what it is all about. till next time take care
Bobby my man. These are awesome videos. I am 44 and grew up in Buchans until I finished high school. Moved back to NL from 2001 to 2009 working in St John's but would get in to Central for at least 10-12 weeks of the year and lived for the Buchans plateau over towards Grand Lake. That area in your video is so similar. I left NL in 2009 for 5 years in Moncton and now the last 6 in the country of Brunei, South East Asia. I get back to NL every summer for a month except for this past summer. First item on the list is to get in to our cabin on the Notch Mountains just west of Buchans. These videos of yours sure bring back memories. I fly Helicopters for a living to the offshore. 8 years in St John's and now 6 here in Brunei. Hope to soon get back to NL and maybe fly the smaller helicopters on the island. Never got a good look at the pilot who dropped you off but suspect I would know him. Looked like a Newfoundland Helicopters A Star that dropped you. Been watching your vids all day. Keep them coming.
I lived in Buchans from 65-72 and now in Toronto since 72. Any relation to Clem Ricketts? He and my brother Derek Warren were close buds growin up in Buchans!! Just wanted to say hello to a fellow Buchaneer. I surely enjoyed this video as well!!
Hey...Buchanan was not far from badger ..I lived there when I was a little one...I'd luv to go back there but wife wants no part of it.....I'm gonna miss her...lol
Very nice vlog brother 🇧🇭🇸🇦✋ enjoy
Nice to see your vlog Sir keep safe
Waiting for another of your adventures!
That one wheel thing puzzled me until I see you pull it 😂 makes sense, good for hauling quarters too. Thanks

Good. Man
AWESOME!
Thanks!
Merci pour ton partage l'ami
I loved the video. What brand of tent and stove do you have, and do you like it? Great set up.....
Fantastic
Good video. Could you be a little more specific about the location? Is it near the Cabox?
I knew u looked familiar but couldn't figure out where I seen u but I use to live in pasadena, probably seen u at foodland when I use to work there.
Great vid .looks like you no your stuff
Now that was interesting..
that little stove is that homemade? and the tent whered you find that?
ive priced a couple ex-army artic ones but they are like 600 a pop,
Stove is homebuilt and the tent is 2 dutch ponchos put together
Im in new brunswick our partridge are bigger and have less white. Must be a bit diffrent species. Ptarmigan arent around here. They call them spruce grouse and ruffled grouse. Spruce are darker and tough and its best to soak them in salt water overnight. Ruffled are just delicious. We are starting to get turkeys here 😁 cant wait to sink my teeth into one of those
You don’t want Turkeys, they will eat the eggs of the other birds.
Where can I get one of those carts you use it has 1 wheel and straps to go over your shoulder thanks
Can someone explain to me why you would eat bagged tuna when you just shot a fresh partridge
Great Vid. I Hunt Moose on the west coast of NL,area 11, I tried to place your area, however the barrens, Mountains, ect all look the same. What was the name of the River in your Vid?
Isla aux morts river
Harold and Farley would have been proud of you
Nice vids.
What is the make and model of your tent in this video ?
Dutch ponchos
I was just out partridge hunting with my Nova in 20gauge 2 weeks ago, but didn't have the luck you had.
Curious what tent that is and what you think of it, and that carrier. What do you do with it when you can't roll it? Is there carry straps?
Really special country you got out there. Beautiful. Not much like southern Quebec.
That tent is a Dutch poncho, and the carry comes apart and attaches to your pack
The Newfoundland Outsider Ahhh, I had a feeling that was some European surplus poncho, but it looked pretty big. Do you find it roomy enough? I thought it looked really convenient, and super easy to set up.
I liked the carry thing, but would never work around here I think.
Nice video. You had way better luck then I did a couple weeks ago, but too many people where I was.
Needs to be a little bigger. Wood stove takes up all the room
I’d love to come out with you sometime looks amazing
Do you know of anyone in NL who claims to have seen a Sasquatch (Bigfoot) creature ?
Around how many kms do you think you went during each day hunting? Nice vid!
Maybe 10 or 12
Great Series Really enjoy them Where did you get your tent?
Ebay
Where did you get the tent? Plus the stove
Made it
MUITO BOM ....
Great video! What's the model of that mono packer?
Built it myself
@@thenewfoundlandoutsider6354 Well done! Seen some similar ones for big game but they are several hundred dollars.
makes me miss home some bad
How long have you lived there?
All my life
Спасибо из России! Ты хороший охотник и правильный человек.
Поддерживаю
Awsome video!
What is that tent called? Cant wait for more videos!
Dutch teepee
@@thenewfoundlandoutsider6354 i checked thier webite.. but looks like they only make a kids tee pee now?
did you order from england?
Nice
Thanks
What make shotgun did you shoot those birds with.....(first time subscriber)! thanks
12 gauge
so love vdo
New subscriber from SC, USA here. Have you ever experienced dangerous creatures in the bush ?
Newfoundland’s most dangerous animal is the moose since they’re very territorial. We also have black bears but there has never been a reported bear attack in all of Newfoundland’s history dating all the way back to when people first cane but again would never put it past a bear to do something if it feels threatened enough
How long do the Partridge meat last before goes bad?
Week in the open on the land like this
Why wasn't the birds eaten?
bien ha estado....
Great video ! Were did you get the mono packer?
Built it
@@thenewfoundlandoutsider6354 Great job! Love the videos Bud
That was a big bird @ 6:50 !
amazing hunt i been wanting to do a hunt like this for a long time now just wondering was your drop off trip very pricey ?
Yes. Not cheap at all
👍😉
For everyone leaving the hate about spent shells, what is the harm? You will never see them. I haven't heard anyone of you pudknockers talking shit about the lead pellets being spread over hell and high ground. They actually will cause damage to the remaining critters that eat them. We all see how noble you are. You can stop now.
Bobby what was the last video you made I don't want to mess any.lol
Hit the bell and subscribe then you won't mess anything
