Late comment - The Giant Lord you fight in the memory is the Last Giant you fight in the beginning of the game. Explains why they are so mad when the see you. From their perspective, you defeat them in the past, and now after however many centuries, you are here to mock his fallen state. No wonder he literally rips off his arm for revenge.
Lore summary on what Vendrick meant: Manus, the Father of the Abyss, that you killed in the first game's DLC, shattered into multiple splinters of dark which became different women of dark. Nashandra, Vendrick's queen is one of them, convincing him to invade the giants to steal something important, all for her lust for power. Her theme is: Desire/Want Elana, The sunken king's queen, corrupted the poor dragon Sinh. Her theme is: Anger/Wrath Nadalia, shattered herself into multiple fragments (the ones you were collecting from those ash-statue things in the Iron DLC), after finding an empty kingdom as the king had already left and become the boss fight in the main game. Her theme is: Solitude/Loneliness. Alsanna, the timid one who tried to corrupt the Ivory King, but was instead swayed by his heroic actions and selfess heart, sacraficing himself to keep the Old Chaos at bay. She decided to forsake the plans she had unlike her sisters. Alsanna's theme is: Fear. All these different emotions, all ones Manus had once held.
Most of the hate mostly comes from the base game before all the DLCs came out, the DLCs are definitely the high point of the game, but Scholar's changes but did some good and also some damage (Ex: Iron Keep became a nightmare of a gauntlet in Scholar's version) Also people really hated stuff like Adaptability for I-frames, the gank-spam in areas and bosses, the questionably slow and floaty movement, the lack of interconnected world and shortcuts with most levels being basically a straight line (fixed in the DLCs with all the shortcuts and passages), Soul Memory (Basically, soul memory is the replacement to level-based matchmaking in DS2, which is based on the souls you collect, which sadly means that if you keep dieing over and over and collecting souls, you soul memory keeps going up more and more and eventually the players that can invade you will be even higher level people due to the amount of souls you've collected in total) Lifegems also were an off addition because that just meant that they could just throw more shit at you since they knew you basically had infinite healing with 99 gems, with wonky hitboxes and enemies that rotated to hit you way more than other games lol For extra context, Dark souls 2 had a troubled development, it had a different director originally (Not Miyizaki and not Tanimura), who attempted to make a more open-world style souls game but due to technical limitations and potential bad management, hit a lot of hurdles. This is why so many areas seem to weirdly connect and not make sense together, along with some very obvious blocked off paths with rubble or rocks that would have connected to the planned open-world nature more. IIRC the original director was removed and then Tanimura came in to stitch and salvage all of the bits and pieces to create the dark souls 2 we have today. It is quite literally a salvage job. Tanimura then went to make the DLCs, which prove that he has what it takes to make some great level design, story and themes, and that the base game of dark souls 2 was just an unlucky victim to the development circumstances. Some would say Elden Ring is "Dark souls 2 2" because of this original open world plan, the dual wielding of power-stancing, and such!
Aldia was added after all the dlcs were made in the original dark souls 2, the only thing scholar of the first sin edition really did was move a bunch of stuff around and add new enemies
Aldia was added with the Scholar release of DS2, yes. Aldia was mentioned only by name in the original version, and was never even hinted to be a weird flaming tree man. He's the king's brother and was known for doing weird soul magic experiments.
That's both true and not true. He WAS added with Scholar of the First Sin... that is, the final content patch for vanilla DS2, that was _also_ named "Scholar of the First Sin". That's what most people do. Only the vocal minority sucks DkS2's figurative d**k and the other end sh*ts on it. Most people have gripes with the flaws and appreciate the positives.
You have finished my favorite souls game, good job bro! My next vote is on sekiro. Remember we all had a couple of years between the releases. But sekiro in itself is a good pallete cleanser aesthetically. And coming back to ds3 will feel good.
Those pillars in the nashandra fight will curse you and deal constant damage. Because you can’t become hollow with the crowns on you were immune to the effects. Congratulations bass, I have to say I’m sad it’s over now!
What a great video mann!! I really enjoyed this series with you🎉 congratulations on finishing this game Bass! And get ready for the Dark Souls 3 😍 I can’t wait to see you play this Masterpiece..
I've been watching you play since DS1 earlier this year. Glad to see your channel is on the rise, you deserve the success! I love the new theme song too, its perfect. Keep up the great work, looking forward to DS3 and Bloodborne!
GG on the playthrough Bass! You properly boinked them this run 💪 hopefully we will see some other builds as well in other titles. DS3 has some EPIC dex weapons (we know u not a magic cheater as you call em 😁). Hope to catch you soon again with more content! Well done young Hollow 👏
Very fun playthrough to watch, thoroughly enjoyed it, great production and editing. I am well hyped for Dark Souls 3 coming up! Elly va tor, and hiddimwiddit have entered my gaming vernacular :)
As for Aldia being in the original version, technically yes but not on release. He was added as an update to the original version upon the release of scholar of the first sin
What a great finish! Loved this series. Just a thought though, I think you should just start with DS3 and then play Bloodborne after. Don't know why but that just makes more sense to me. Playing 2 Fromsoft games at once can mess with your brain and mix up things lol. But in the end, you do you man, do whatever feels is right. 😊
Any of the Crowns will prevent you from Hollowing once you have Vendrick's Blessing, which is useful because they all grant different powers. (I especially liked the Ivory King's Crown, which recharges spell usages once every couple of minutes. I could keep my sword perpetually buffed.)
Great playthrough! Cant wait for the 1st Dark souls 3 vid. It is truly a great game, and as you will notice the game feel gets faster again and feels a lot more like Elden ring which is cool and i personally prefer that game feel. (also i hope at some point ya play Sekiro, though its technically not a souls game like BB and the other Souls games, it still in alot of ways feels like one while also having a more structured story for FromSoft which is def neat.)
The run to the final boss is way too long and was apparently a place with lots of invasions at one time. The path to the boss door would be full of blood stains from players dying, weird in an area with no enemies.
Been great tuning in for this series! Lorewise, the main difference between linking the fire or entering an age of dark is that an age of fire is like normal life. People are born, live, and die. Kingdoms rise and fall. An age of dark is everyone is just kind of in a state of perpetual undeath, losing their sense of self over time. But maybe there is something in that age of dark that hasn't been seen? The sheer amount of weapons with their variety of looks and how they mesh with the many armors makes this a true Fashionsouls title. I suppose the only thing not shown on camera was returning to the Duke's arena for a free boss souls (which makes an ultra greatsword that has a dragon power). But... to end my comments on you DS2 videos on a sour note, allow me to make one suggestion: go to the Dark Souls 2 wiki on fextralife for Sweet Shalquoir (the talking cat). Read the comments people left about our sweet cat and be disgusted with the rest of us. Happy Gaming, Bass. :D
DS3 + BB combo sounds freaking awesome! They found that faster pace of combat with BB and then used it in DS3 so they both play like Elden Ring without the jump. While Elden Ring is my own favorite I love the setting and atmosphere of BB and it's just so unique in it's world building so it probably takes second place on my list.
Aldia was not in the original BUT was added after the updates, almost like dlc. So you can indeed fight him in the original, but not the unpatched version. Edit: Also can't wait for you to play DkS3. Since you took 2 as its own game instead of just complaining that it wasn't 1, then I hope you can do the same for 3. A lot of 1 and 2 fanboys love to sh*t on 3, just because it does what a sequel should do. It annoys me to no end as a fan of the series since Demon's, I enjoy every game despite their individual flaws.
from what i understand about the ending of this game is that your choice dont matter if you take the throne or leave it. since the cycle will just repeat either way and someone will take your place be just like you and fight you in the end. but ALAS! the bass journey has ended!
If you leave with all crowns you've basically got what you initially came for: stop being undead. Before dlcs - yeah, not very clear. And while you go away, Aldia may come up with something. He's the nerd here.
For me personally i love this game, more than any other soulsborne game (still need to play elden ring), also i think the true ending for this game would be to leave the throne, bc it mentions if u sit on it u choose light or dark, but if u walk away something else entierly.
I was doing that for DS1 and it did well on the channel, but I am also trying to reach a broader audience with the two different titles a week...Also helps me stay kinda sane since the games on here are the only ones I have time to playXD
At the end you can go to the throne which means your character has the choice to link the fire or usher an age of dark but they do it offscreen. When you choose the other option to leave the throne it means you chose a 3rd option which is to find a cure for the curse other than relying on the cycle of light and dark. It was fun watching your playthrough of the game looking forward for DS3!
As a Dark Souls 2 stan, I'm glad you enjoyed it. It definitely has its flaws, but also strengths. DS3 is a fantastic game, which I'm sure you'll enjoy massively. You'll definitely be able to pick up on different elements that have been carried through from Dark Souls 1 & 2, as well as notice elements that went on to influence Elden Ring.
Dude, started the souls games about 1.5-2 years ago, started with DS1, beat it, NG+ several times with diffrent builds, started a few new characters to try new builds as well. Start DS2, pain, constant pain, so many times worse than DS1 pain. So I quit after probably having 50ish hours in. Go on, do a single play through DS3 (NG+ and more play throughs pending the future) and immediately moved on to elden ring and ended up sinking about 600 hours into elden ring now (still haven't done a NG+ run after beating the DLC however, that is only played through the DLC once) After that I FINALLY came back to DS2, started a new character, used a rapier, later on the rusted iron? twin blade and had a much easier/better time with many of the ganks/run backs and bosses, finally beat the game. Recently 100% DS1 played through like 3-5? mods and now am working on DS2 achievements and plan to start trying out DS2 mods afterwards. All that to say, I too can see both sides of the coins, can't say I love DS2 and IMO its the bottom of the bunch compared to DS1/3 and ER, but now I can at least enjoy playing it having actually overcome the wall.
Because of the bonfire, people always tend to go to the Giant lord memory first, and that’s a shame. It should be the final one. I think the door should be locked until you pick up the other giant souls.
I'm glad you know why DS2 is loved and hated and that you had fun on this journey. I remember saying that I had already played DS3, but I think I remember very little, right?
Found your videos of DS1 as I was doing my first playthrough, and have been following along with your videos of DS2 for my first playthrough of it as well, literally just beat it a few days ago. Cant wait to see how you do with bloodborne. It will always be my favourite.😎
The way I always discribe DS2 to people who ask me is that its a great game with some flaws you have to get past. The core of it is fun and has some really cool things that they tried with it but just the over all super clunky and added noob traps of wasting limited items in Sotfs that and when you enter the Aldia's Keep and the dragon skeloton doesnt wake up and attack you I think was the biggest change that was bad imo.
basically, the ending is like this, entering the throne will continue the cycle and your character will sacrifice themselves to continue the age of fire, while leaving is your character choosing the leave the cycle, but doesn't mean someone else won't come and link the fire still, you just choose to find a new path for your character. I'm being very basic, and you SHOULD watch a lore video or series from Vaati! Also yea bloodborne would be SO hype!
I'd have said BB after DS3 to take its spot, but you obviously like pain. If you liked silent hill I would say carry on with the originals 2 and 3 at least if you can get hold of them (before the temptations of the remake). And just to throw another out there the two "Evil Within" games are worth a shot, they are quite something in story and boss design.
I'm glad you enjoyed the game...I had a good time watching your playthrough! I'm very excited for you to start DS3! It is quite a bit different to DS1 and DS2, but it has the best bosses in the series...Unfortunately, it still has plenty of runbacks, but at least the bosses are fun to fight...
Too lazy to answer separately to comments, but half of y'all people are dumb Vendrick is not a final boss by any means You can fight him as soon as you raech his room, only difference being his defence multiplier, since you won't have all the souls He is meant to be an empty husk, which is why his fight is like that Even Nashandra is a better boss than that crap called Gwyn Lord of Cinder in DS1 Taking throne or not doesn't matter at all, but DS3 explains this better with it's... parts... No spoilers 😅 There was never fire burning the world to ash type of shit in canon, let alone Gods traveling universes lmfao
Nah he was added to that game He aldia wasn’t in the of dark souls 2 Also the persurer didn’t randomly pop up in the og game either One thing is play the game on NG+ They add red phantom enemies in more areas
DS2 feels like some weird spin off. I love it dont get me wrong. Once you start DS3, you will see what I mean. DS3 feels like REAL Dark Souls! Stoked on your playthrough my friend! Bloodborne as well! 🍻
I can't really agree with that. I liked a lot of the changes and other aspects that DS2 brought forward, only for DS3 to gut out a lot of the good ones. DS3 to me just felt like watered-down mechanics and played it far too safe in the base game. It focused too hard on the bosses and all the meat in-between was just filler you needed to run through to get to the next boss.
yeah, Nashandra, Vendrick and Aldia have to be the absolute worst final bosses of whole the saga, a shame since the DLCs leave such a good flavor in your mouth, dealing with these three afterwards feels like a wet fart in the face.
Dude vendrick is not a final boss, also nope I don't think nashandra and aldia are as bad as Gwyn, yeah I Know,we have soul of cinder but keep in mind that soul of cinder is in dark souls 3,the game with the best bosses in the video game history
@khashygeld9776 you gotta beat Vendrick after getting the 3 crowns and before fighting Nashandra to get to Aldia, so most player would fight him almost at the end once finished the dlcs, so he contributes a lot with the bad taste the endgame leaves in your mouth. As for Gwyn, he's easy if you either mastered the parry during your run and/or you use a heavy armor with good defense, if you don't then that fight is hell, Nashandra in the other hand is a freaking let down for any and all players, and Aldia es even worse.
@AlphagonOmegarius I kinda agree with you to some degree about vendrick but I personally I won't kill vendrick right before nashandra,I prefer to just go with the throne watchers, nashandra and then aldia, and most of people who I saw just do it like me. Also about gwyn,it's not about gwyn being hard, it's just not fun to fight،with or without parry. and yeah aldia and nashandra were pretty underwhelming and I think the only thing they did better is the difficulty and music.
Maybe, but just think about Gwyn. He is also by no means a good boss. He has nostalgia going for him, but that’s it. Whether you like her more or not, Nashandra is a mechanically more advanced boss. I’d say Watcher defender, Nashandra, and Aldia are better. Still not saying much. Both final encounters are products of their time and rushed development for both games.
@@forlorn9134 i can get Nashandra, i don't even consider her a bad boss, just not a good final fight, however Aldia is absulutely unforgivable, seeing how great of a job they did with the DLCs it just doesn't make sense to put such a weak final fight.
@@BassPlays902 Dark Souls 2 is a bad game. I only played it because people claimed that it has the best magic system of all Souls games. I dont know if thoose people were on drugs, but mage build is terrible in DS 2.
I took the Throne, too. Nice to meet a fellow aristocrat. 😊 Now off you pop, into Dark Souls 3. And be prepared: the were picking up the pace there. Combat is a lot faster then in DS2. 😊
Okay so lore dump for you for Dark souls one leading into two The way the dark souls timeline was meant to be seen was that in the games, Gwyn lied to everyone and convinced one world serpent (frampt) out of thousands that the age of fire he started changed the law of the world and that it should stay the age of fire forever with frampt tricking to and lying to the undead and eventually that fire constantly rekindled by powerful souls eventually burned the world to ashes before the law of the world could advance and leave it healthy to start the dark age AKA (the human era). Since the age of dark never happened the world when burned to ash Died leaving the world as it was in ancient primordial times. A land of gray crags, unformed and lifeless before once again the cycle started over. Frampt is the snake that talks to the chosen undead after they ring the two bells of awakening. The law of the world was to follow a course of "the age of nothing" which is ruled by dragons followed by "The age of fire" which was to be ruled by Gods and lords finally finishing with "The dark age" where man takes over and leads the world once again to "the age of nothing" where the everlasting dragons once again take dominion starting the cycle over. However Gwyn feared the age of dark and tried to find ways to keep his own age of Fire burning. He was able to talk a world serpent whose species were an offshoot descendents of the everlasting dragons who followed the law of the world and their words of what is right and wrong are held in high regard enough to turn Gods against one another. Gwyn convinced one serpent his age was to be eternal as it changed the law of the world and in doing so nearly every god under his rule saw where gwyns lies we're going and actually LEFT the universe they were in for other realms to escape his plans even his own Daughter Gwenevere who shortly before leaving gave birth to Prescilla the half-breed and her ability of True death for God's explaining the Dark flame found in the Painted world of Ariamis. Gwyns relighting of the fires plan literally used the world itself as fuel and strong undead souls as the spark and burned it to ash before the next age could take hold leaving the world a husk of what it was supposed to be. Which is why that voice over in DS2's ending said things will start again. it will happen over and over so long as undead believe the lies of a long dead and forgotten god. Safe to say that Gwyns a charismatic coward and his lies literally DOOMED his universe to a very quick and very painful entropic end that restarts itself when the cycle is at its end.
wow, its been a long way to here, you finally made it, you passed the worst part of fromsoftware lol, but i hope with ds3 you can enjoy it more!, good luck in ds3, i hope be back in the comments section and maybe in the premiere of the videos! greetings bass!
I thought about that, but I kinda want the lore fresh in my brain when I go into Dark Souls 3 and I'll be playing BB on Fridays in tandem after silent hillXD
@ Awesome! Playing the trilogy is a great way to go! Playing the games in order of release date allows you to see the advancements in gameplay and style, but playing the DS trilogy back to back is worth it!
My opinion on this series changed a lot with time, but the gist was always simple DeS - bare bones and rough af DS1 - DeS++. A better game overall, but undercooked af and over praised to hell DS2 - extremely ambitious project ruined by company mess DS3 - more polished base gameplay from previous games, with undercooked new mechanics and fan service fest Sekiro - not a part of the series, but oh well. A good game, but far from "best combat ever" or whatever fan boys scream about it. Worth a couple of playthroughs, but if you care for ANY build variation or gameplay depth you ain't staying for long as game loop is actually basic af Elden ring - cheap trash... Don't get me wrong, it is a good game on it's own, but I don't know how vets can like it, when it's mostly reuses from all the games above and some more spread thin over an unnecessarily huge empty map, with crap lore and 50 shit swamps 😂 (not counting DLC since I never played)
Late comment - The Giant Lord you fight in the memory is the Last Giant you fight in the beginning of the game. Explains why they are so mad when the see you. All these different emotions, all ones Manus had once held.
Those things that Nashandra summons would make you go hollow if you didn't have that crown on
The game only had one ending originally, sitting on the throne, with Aldia being added and his bossfight, the leave ending became available!
Most of the hate mostly comes from the base game before all the DLCs came out, the DLCs are definitely the high point of the game, but Scholar's changes but did some good and also some damage (Ex: Iron Keep became a nightmare of a gauntlet in Scholar's version)

Lifegems also were an off addition because that just meant that they could just throw more shit at you since they knew you basically had infinite healing with 99 gems, with wonky hitboxes and enemies that rotated to hit you way more than other games lol
For extra context, Dark souls 2 had a troubled development, it had a different director originally (Not Miyizaki and not Tanimura), who attempted to make a more open-world style souls game but due to technical limitations and potential bad management, hit a lot of hurdles. This is the best game to be a mage because of all the spells and all the consumables available to extend your mage powers.

U can access another memory in duke dear freja boss arena. The dragon memory an u will get 80k souls free
Thanks for the heads up!

The personal soundtrack was thanks to a friend on discord thank ya! I'm ready to settle into a new series for sure now!
The cycle will continue in this game and also in Bass's future gaming as wellXD
The cycle repeats in the first Dark Souls as well. It's nothing new.
Keep in mind the game changes a lot in NG+. New enemies and new items. It's the only Souls game that really does that.
Maybe I'll try NG+ for a vid someday!
GG Well Played 🙏 Loving your Dark Souls playthroughs so far. But why not just combine tuesdays&fridays videos for one game? :b
Oh gotcha! Thanks for watching, hope ya like DS3!
Ds3 the top tier Game im exited all fight whit 2 phases :)
As a Dark Souls 2 stan, I'm glad you enjoyed it. It definitely has its flaws, but also strengths. DS3 is a fantastic game, which I'm sure you'll enjoy massively. You'll definitely be able to pick up on different elements that have been carried through from Dark Souls 1 & 2, as well as notice elements that went on to influence Elden Ring.
the best dlc ending, on par with elden ring, very sublime.
I'm glad I got the opportunity to experience this game and with many of the veterans of the good ole days too, thanks for tuning in!
I don't know why the slow zoom in on NPC conversations always gets me, but never stop doing that please
I won't XD
I don’t know why but I absolutely love dark souls 2, I’m mainly a great sword and shield build
Oh cool! Yeah the shield way crossed my mind a few times in this gameXD
reactions to lore videos would be dope
Mayhaps I'll do that on patreon haha MayhapsXD
Dude, started the souls games about 1.5-2 years ago, started with DS1, beat it, NG+ several times with diffrent builds, started a few new characters to try new builds as well.
Start DS2, pain, constant pain, so many times worse than DS1 pain. So I quit after probably having 50ish hours in.
Go on, do a single play through DS3 (NG+ and more play throughs pending the future) and immediately moved on to elden ring and ended up sinking about 600 hours into elden ring now (still haven't done a NG+ run after beating the DLC however, that is only played through the DLC once)
After that I FINALLY came back to DS2, started a new character, used a rapier, later on the rusted iron? twin blade and had a much easier/better time with many of the ganks/run backs and bosses, finally beat the game.
You sound like quite the souls veteranXD
Because of the bonfire, people always tend to go to the Giant lord memory first, and that’s a shame. It should be the final one. I think the door should be locked until you pick up the other giant souls.
Ah fair haha
Doing this game right now and I can honestly say the games been fun up until drangleic castle and now its getting just annoying.
I'm glad you know why DS2 is loved and hated and that you had fun on this journey. I remember saying that I had already played DS3, but I think I remember very little, right?
I got to the hub area in DS3 I remember but that was it lol
0:19 YO WTF 😂😂😂😂😂 Where is this clip from?
Matthew Mcconaughey's AIDS movieXD
@@BassPlays902 DAMN I GOTTA LOOK THIS UP
Found your videos of DS1 as I was doing my first playthrough, and have been following along with your videos of DS2 for my first playthrough of it as well, literally just beat it a few days ago. Cant wait to see how you do with bloodborne. It will always be my favourite.😎
Thanks for hanging out! I can't wait for BB and DS3!
Ah yes I discovered that haha thanks!
basically, the ending is like this, entering the throne will continue the cycle and your character will sacrifice themselves to continue the age of fire, while leaving is your character choosing the leave the cycle, but doesn't mean someone else won't come and link the fire still, you just choose to find a new path for your character. I'm being very basic, and you SHOULD watch a lore video or series from Vaati!
Also yea bloodborne would be SO hype!
I'll check out the lore vids and learn!
I hope you enjoy it, the lore is so rich with dark souls 2, i love this game so much.
Personal favorite in the series despite its gameplay flaws~
Can’t wait for you to try DS3. Peak Dark Souls 🤩🤩
Oh I am working on it as we speak haha
I'd have said BB after DS3 to take its spot, but you obviously like pain. If you liked silent hill I would say carry on with the originals 2 and 3 at least if you can get hold of them (before the temptations of the remake). And just to throw another out there the two "Evil Within" games are worth a shot, they are quite something in story and boss design.
I'd be down to try out the evil within games, I have heard of them, but never got my hands on them lol
Looking forward to DARK SOULS 3, The top 3 of best game fromsoft has to offer, aside from ER and Sekiro.
I can't wait to play DS3 either! ready for another adventure haha
Thanks for tuning in!
No vendrick was talking about manus from ds1.
Yeah I found that out lol hence the sound of "NOPE" lol
Sorry I have been too busy raging about one hit killed in helldivers 2. I'll come back and pay attention one day. Kisses. Thanks for the videos Duder.
Do what you must...For democracyXD
Too lazy to answer separately to comments, but half of y'all people are dumb
Vendrick is not a final boss by any means
You can fight him as soon as you raech his room, only difference being his defence multiplier, since you won't have all the souls
He is meant to be an empty husk, which is why his fight is like that
Even Nashandra is a better boss than that crap called Gwyn Lord of Cinder in DS1
Taking throne or not doesn't matter at all, but DS3 explains this better with it's... parts... No spoilers 😅
There was never fire burning the world to ash type of shit in canon, let alone Gods traveling universes lmfao
Oh Bass, if you hate the runbacks in DS2, wait until you play Demon's Souls... 😂
Oooooo FunXD
Thanks for the journey. Looking forward to DS3. Ruňññ
Haha see ya on Tuesday!
Nah he was added to that game
He aldia wasn’t in the of dark souls 2
Also the persurer didn’t randomly pop up in the og game either
One thing is play the game on NG+
They add red phantom enemies in more areas
Aldia was not in the original DSII, but was retroactively added to it once Scholar of the First Sin came out
Ah gotcha!
In ds3 it's more about the boss fights than the run backs.
Good...
@@Zelmazam1 There are still plenty of time wasting runbacks in DS3, but they aren't quite as bad as DS2...
@brucepreston3927 ds3 bosses are more memorable too
We want Dark Souls 3 , i love your videos and gameplays ♥️🫠
Your wish is coming true haha
If I could vote I would choose Sekiro or Armored Core 6, since they are my favorite games from From, alongside Elden Ring
Never played Armored core or Sekiro so I'm up for whatever haha
Thanks for tuning in for this one!
@@Battleguild totally agree. DS3 rocks but i think 2 was better.
DS3 is DS on memberberries. Too much stuff is outright lifted from the previous games. Gameplay is bloodbornified and dual-wielding is gutted.
yeah, Nashandra, Vendrick and Aldia have to be the absolute worst final bosses of whole the saga, a shame since the DLCs leave such a good flavor in your mouth, dealing with these three afterwards feels like a wet fart in the face.
I have beaten the base game and immidiatly uninstalled. Didn't bothered with the DLC.
Welp there are other games to play lol I do believe the DLC's were really shining in this title tho fr
Can't wait for DS3!
Ancient Dragon and Vendrick are interesting bosses. The rest average. The areas are excellent apart from The Gulch
fun fact: DS2 is the only soul game u can upgrade your armor
bro forgot about DS1 🤣
@@efaypee
damn its the only one i didn't play 🌚
Awe sad lol
Lol no
Okay so lore dump for you for Dark souls one leading into two The way the dark souls timeline was meant to be seen was that in the games, Gwyn lied to everyone and convinced one world serpent (frampt) out of thousands that the age of fire he started changed the law of the world and that it should stay the age of fire forever with frampt tricking to and lying to the undead and eventually that fire constantly rekindled by powerful souls eventually burned the world to ashes before the law of the world could advance and leave it healthy to start the dark age AKA (the human era).
Thank you for the lore dumb sirXD
@@BassPlays902 90% headcanon...
Did you just say you'll be doing Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne and Sekiro?
You better mean it .... don't toy with my heart like that.
Imma try haha
The story won't be ruined by like Vatti Videos
Probably not, but I think it would be much easier to grasp the full picture if he watches them after he finishes DS3...
ds2 problem : boss generally easy. but that will not happen on ds3.
I'll be ready...MaybeXD
38:25 Did you play Demon Souls? I have bad news for you, if you didn't.
Haven't played demon souls yet lol
wow, its been a long way to here, you finally made it, you passed the worst part of fromsoftware lol, but i hope with ds3 you can enjoy it more!, good luck in ds3, i hope be back in the comments section and maybe in the premiere of the videos! greetings bass!
Thanks for tuning into the last DS2 vid and I hope to see you in the DS3 comments!
Soooooo... Nioh when?
Nioh?
@BassPlays902 it's a Soulslike (albeit more Action - Combat based and more gear-oriented), set in Japan during it's unification.
Does Vendrick and Oceiros from DS3 have the same voice actor?
Dunno lol
The sword is a lie.
I feel you should go in order of release date! DS1, DS2, Bloodborne, DS3, Sekiro!
My opinion on this series changed a lot with time, but the gist was always simple
DeS - bare bones and rough af
DS1 - DeS++. A better game overall, but undercooked af and over praised to hell
DS2 - extremely ambitious project ruined by company mess
DS3 - more polished base gameplay from previous games, with undercooked new mechanics and fan service fest
Sekiro - not a part of the series, but oh well. A good game, but far from "best combat ever" or whatever fan boys scream about it. Worth a couple of playthroughs, but if you care for ANY build variation or gameplay depth you ain't staying for long as game loop is actually basic af
Elden ring - cheap trash... Don't get me wrong, it is a good game on it's own, but I don't know how vets can like it, when it's mostly reuses from all the games above and some more spread thin over an unnecessarily huge empty map, with crap lore and 50 shit swamps 😂 (not counting DLC since I never played)
Yes!! Bloodborne man. By by far the best. Ds3 is good combat-wise but other than 1 or 2 areas, its kinda ugly imo. Good luck 👍
Thank ya!
Dsrk souls 1 has worse runbacks
ascetic not aesthetic. good gameplay though
HaXD I'm a dummy and thank you!
Yes! Both DS 3 and Bloodborne! This was a ton of fun and I'm definitely in for the long haul.🫡
XD
