MC Eiht, RBX, Tone Loc and Ice T said the same thing MOB James is saying, which is that Pac shouldn't have gotten involved with gangs. Ice T warned Pac to stop. The beef with Orlando Anderson was a gang situation. James is saying that the MOB had enforcers who should have handled it on their own.
Also, Pac was out on bail and the assault was captured on video. Suge Knight got 9 years on a probation violation for kicking Anderson. If Pac had lived, his bail certainly would have been revoked.

This is the first time James Macdonald has acknowledged that Pac was not a Chris Brown or Soldier Boy type. He acknowledged that Pac was wit tha bizness and had a track record and homies to vouch for that from coast to coast. I have much love and respect for the Damu homie, but hopefully before he passes he evolves beyond this LA mentality where you believe that terrorizing your own kind solidifies you as a gangsta and that LA is the only place where ninjas is hard. When I say terrorizing I am specifically talking about destroying one another behind absolutely nothing, "a war" based on colors and street names, not ownership of land or businesses or major trafficking lanes like the cartels/mafias. Shout out James. RIP the 🐐 MAKAVELI

I have watched numerous interviews with MOB James. I have never heard him imply that Pac was similar to clowns like Chris Brown or Soulja Boy. What I heard from him is that niggas shed blood for the MOB, and he felt like Pac could not just waltz in and claim a set.
James believes that Pac was a rapper, and should have just stayed in that lane. I agree. Shortly before Pac was murdered, he gave an interview with Vibe magazine where he announced that he was going to run for office, and start an independent political party for Blacks and other disenfranchised ethnic groups. The FBI was afraid that Pac was going to revive the Black Panther Party.
Pac was also about to launch Euphanasia, an umbrella company that was going to produce movie projects and develop community organizing initiatives. He was planning a biopic about Nat Turner. Pac was also working on a screenplay, and preparing to launch Makaveli Records.
Pac was on the verge of accomplishing great things inside and outside of entertainment. He could have become the leader that Black people have needed for the past 50 years - Pac had the potential to become a street level, grassroots force like Malcolm X and Fred Hampton. Brothers and sisters in the hood, thugs, gangbangers and incarcerated individuals loved Pac, and would have followed him anywhere. Unfortunately he also wanted to get into gangbanging. There is a recorded 1995 phone call between Pac and Sanyika Shakur (no relation) aka Monster Kody. Pac talked about being recruited by gangs, and his desire to participate in gangbanging. That led to his demise.

People keep saying 2pac didn't know better when he joined bloods. People who say that really didn't listen to his music. In alot of his songs he said he wanted to die. For example; in the song "So Many Tears" he said: "Now I'm lost and I'm weary/ so many tears, I'm suicidal so don't stand near me/ my every move is a calculated step/ to bring me closer to embrace an early death... Also in the song, "If I Die 2night" he said: Going insane, never die, live eternal, who shall I fear/ don't shed a tear for me, nigga, I ain't happy here/ I hope they bury me and send me to my rest/ headlines reading, "Murdered to death", my last breath/ take a look, picture a crook on his last stand/ motherfuckers don't understand, if I die tonight... All throughout his music he spoke about not wanting to live anymore and wanting to go out by being shot to death. I honestly believe 2pac knew what he got himself into, and he just didn't care. He was depressed and suicidal in that sense. He was tired of all the pressure after abandoning his political/panther life to pursue the thug/gangster life, and all the pain and betrayal he went through from family and friends. He said he wanted to go out in a blaze of glory, unfortunately.

Meaning he left that black panther side of him for the "Thug Life". After he got shot and went to prison and was bailed out, He upgraded from "Thug Life" to "Outlaw Immortal". From Outlaw Immortal, he joined MOB Pirus.
