Thanks for the compliment. If you like this vid, subscribe and check out the other vids. This wasn’t easy to make, being that I do everything Solo. I can’t wait to get my Grizzla pads this Friday. I’ll be working on getting 55+ mph. Appreciate your input.
Thank you. I’m glad you liked it. I did put a lot of work into making this. Difficult as a solo creator, but worth the time when I read the positive comments.
Good afternoon, I'm from Russia, Moscow. I ordered an EX 30 for myself a couple of days ago. It cost me $ 2,800. I expect delivery in March. Many of us praise this wheel. And they consider it the best that they have now.
I agree. I do believe it’s the best wheel Begode or any other manufacture has created so far for the street. I’m sure you’ll love yours when it arrives. Check out my other videos where I talk more about this wheel. Thanks for watching my video, as well as your comments. Ride safe!
Appreciate the creativity you put into this video. I subscribed. Let’s see what you get up to with those Grizzla pads. I’m right about to order an ex30. I ride a Sherman S and it’s an amazing wheel. Just want more confidence with speed and distance. I think the ex-30 can offer that. Thoughts? Keep up the great shots!
To be honest I haven’t been able to get higher speeds, even with the Grizzla pads. This might be due to the fact that I’m now using gps measurements of my speeds and the Begode speed on the displays are off by about 3 to 4mph. Grizzlas have given me massive control and confidence. I never rode the Sherman S, but I can say the EX30 can run full blast for 40 miles before I even hear a beep. Thanks for positive comments.
Go to a low volume straight path area to attempt seated riding. The minimum speed you should be traveling is 10mph. You must commit quickly and sit. If you hesitate, you will lose control of your wheel. Once seated, use the tip of your toes to accelerate while your heels are off of the petals. Lean forward to accelerate. To break, lean back and straighten your posture. Try that for 30 minutes.
I'm fairly new to riding seated as well. Just tried to ride seated on the EX30 today. I can ride it better than on my v13, as in I can accelerate in a seated position on the ex30, but I have difficulty doing so on the v13, even though its a tad more comfortable, since it is taller. However, I have a grizzla fairing and pad system on order with the large seat option and that should make it easier for me to get used to riding seated on the ex30.
I too have the Grizzla Fairing kit. Now that I’ve been riding, seated for a couple months I love it, it’s a godsend. I can now ride 44 miles to and from work without feeling all beat up and tired. With an average speed of 28 to 30 mph, I don’t even get beeps because its better on the battery seated due to less wind resistance. 👍
@@riandowright3542 I too enjoy this wheel. I only did around 40 miles to get a feel so I can make adjustments, pads, etc. I have the street tire as it's my new road wheel and it's smooth, very quiet, and quick. I like the weight and I don't feel beat up after a ride, but my legs got a workout...
No idea if you already fixed the issues you encountered but fairings or a quick and dirty tape job to cover those big gaps on the sides are reported to fix that
Actually I have made my own fairings that work really good. I have installed Grizzla flow pads on them and I have been really happy. They may not be the best looking, but it looks okay. Im still waiting for the ones I ordered from Grizzla.
Thank you. I’m glad you liked it. I appreciate your compliment. I put a lot of work into making this. Difficult as a solo creator, but worth the time when I receive this great feedback .
I agree with all the boxes you desired for your next wheel, this is where I am. I ride a s22 in the mountains, trails and for fun. But the ex30 does seem like a good choice.
If you could afford to keep the S22, I would hold on to it for tight technical trials. Or for times you may need to catch public transportation (if you do that.) This EX30 is heavy. I’m still on the fence as to whether I’ll keep my RS19 or sell it not. It works well when lifting up/down stairs. Thanks for watching.
Slick movie making. Tips to sit, while traveling at a nice slow smooth cruze, reach down with right hand and grab front of seat, Sit fast. No lerking half way. probably need to turn heels slightly out with toes in, usually to get feet from under jump pads slightly. I used to not be a fan of seated but now im up and down depending. lovein it. Much less wind so im' fully flat as if i'm planking going flat stick. ha. Ride safe.. Sitting is actually really fun, just cruzing or blazing hard.
Excellent video Riando .. new sub ... interesting point about the medium mode setting ... 1. what is the default mode upon arrival? I bet many riders just take it out of the box and ride without checking .... and ... 2. as you may have noticed Dawn talk about that opening between the seat and the body causing instability at higher speeds with some wind turbulence in the 45-50mph range ... did you notice anything like that? .... or maybe it's just a lighter rider weight difference as she's around 140 all geared up. She closed the gap with Duct Tape and the problem was solved in case you experience that issue.
Hey thanks for your great feedback and subscribing Kirby. I believe that the EUC comes in Medium mode. I have changed it so many times I can’t remember. Now about the Aero, I do believe that could have something to do with the pulling at speeds. I believe she also updated her firmware so that could have had some input, but I’m sure the Aero was more important. I have created some custom fairing for mine and put the Grizzla Pads. These fairing make the gap smaller but they also add some frontal turbulence now. I also had Alien Rides update my firmware. I have yet to try it in hard mode at speeds with all the new changes. I will be testing this soon.
If your taking about the pedals, there are actually no holes just indents. I’d have to bore holes and tap thread. The tape has been sufficient so far. Thanks for the tip.
Thanks for watching and I’m glad you liked it. I wear Xero shoes, I love them but after falling a couple times I don’t know if I can actually recommend them. I’m looking for something similar with more ankle and toe protection. Check out the video I put out talking about my current gear. ua-cam.com/video/h4bNQnKeIUw/v-deo.html
Awesome video on the EX30 Ri. I learned how to ride seated a few months ago and I have been loving it ever since. The one thing I kept doing wrong was holding on to the wheel with my hands. You have to just let go and allow your body to figure out the balance without your hands touching anywhere on the EUC. The moment I let go, I had it. Hope to see more of your riding content soon.
I appreciate you watching and thank you for the help on how to ride seated. Based on everyone’s input and my own eagerness to learn, I have finally learned how to ride seated. Still not comfortable at speeds over 25, especially in traffic. This will change, I’m sure.
@@riandowright3542 For sure it will change. I feel a lot more comfortable near top speeds seated vs standing. My max speed for standing is around 30-35 mph.
Yeah, if I cannot buy the upgraded Abrams from E-rides. I will be buying the EX30 tomorrow. I hope Grizzla will release the protection for the EX30 soon. I don't need a 5th wheel. But they are calling to me. Whispering in my ears. "Buy me...ride me"
Yes it is a difficult decision. Honestly I may have chosen the Sherman if Alien Rides sold and Warranties them. I like the fact that there is very little money that you have to invest after the initial purchase. With the EX30 I need a new shock because the original one is leaking and squeaking. I had to buy the Grizzla Fairing kit for protections. I’ll probably be upgrading the suspension linkages to carbon fiber ones as well for an improved suspension feel. Thats almost a $1000 extra to make it comfortable for me.
I don’t mind any questions. I weigh 205, 5’11”. I had about 40 percent battery left and I was pushing 35-45 constantly. This thing is amazing on the battery.
Why would you use stock pad to begin with?... The stock pads were designed to be just functional enough, and the majority of the design was the protect the battery pack.
You are right, but unfortunately I wasn’t sure exactly how I wanted to apply the aftermarket pads because there where no aftermarket fairings available at the time. Eventually I made my own and that’s what I’m using currently with the Grizzla pads.
@@riandowright3542 I got the whole Grizzla setup for the EX30. It looks like a completely different wheel with the entire Grizzla setup. Go check it out.
What color are you getting?... I got it all matte black. I would suggest you get the seat too?... if you don't then the top cushion will be exposed. Getting it will also make it more streamlined and it won't make it uncomfortable to to ride. Not getting it will make it feel like the part of the fairings will dig into your inner leg.
@@MissDaisyTheRacoon I was thinking of going blue on the low profile seat, blue on the top section of the front and back bumper, as well as blue on the ergonomic top section. I would then go Matte black everywhere else.
Never seen any of your videos before, but this is some quality production. Nice work dude.
Also, 50 MPH? That’s no joke considering it’s a new wheel for you and not set up with optimal pads.

Would be a bit of work but you could drill out the spots on the pedals and put a thread in them. Then put in grub screws
I definitely considered that initially. But decided to go the easier route by trying the non slip tape. That did the trick, so I had no need to drill.
Nice to see local Bay Area EUC quality videos. I’m inspired
