Id put a log camp next to the sawmill and then placed down the freight depot on the beams and planks side and then fill the log pond up and thaen sell the wood products and repeat
Love it. Good job. Well, they updated the PreviousBuild, and now I have the new map, and new locos and industries. It is fantastic, and still running on my computer now. There was a point where I was running the Beta version, but my computer could no longer handle the updates, and then the regular build wasn't working either. So hopefully this means that the game is being made more efficient.
@@AardvarkGames-YT definitely, especially if there's a teir two engine like the Glenbrook that I want to get, I use it to my advantage until it runs out of room
You should have put in a running clock and then highlight every $1000 or so, woulda been kinda fun 😁 I almost feel bad for the devs for having such a spaghetti of small things still to fix that bothers players, but which are also probably kinda thankless to fix such as level balancing of the rolling stock and those quirky UI things that you mentioned yourself in the video. With "only" 100 hours in the game i'm still not used to those quirks of the game controls yet so they still bother me. But i hope and pray that these are getting fixed until a 1.0 release to make it a complete game to attract new players too 🙏
back when the desert map came out and there was no preplaced industries, i did a similar thing when i decided to move my iron mine plopped down a depot beside it and dumped into a hopper then into the depot just to empty it made a boatload of cash cause it was almost full
Absolutely love this ... 🎉

Like building a factory.
I prefer the shay to start with. She's slow but has a lot more pulling power than the other 2.
I use something similar to this, I put a firewood depot down next to the logging camp to drop logs instantly
sometimes it's nice to just get off to a fast start👍
