This hobby is more expensive than watches 🤣Kind of getting back into it as I retire and 10 months and my plan is to build and sell computers to keep myself busy.
Don't know if ever built one before, just take your time and walk away for as few minutes when you get frustrated its actually very easy to do as its pretty much all plug and play, when I used to do this 30 years ago you had make sure on the jumpers on the board were right. assign com port/irq's/and dma channels. Are you going AMD or Intel ?
Looks like an awesome build! I've been building gaming PCs for over 20 years and have been shopping at Microcenter for just as long. I'm luck to have two stores in my area. I cannot recommend them enough. They get sales incentives (hence the little sticker they put on your item) but I've never been upsold there, in fact, they've talked me down more than a few times. Every salesman I've worked with is a gamer, knows their stuff, and the genuinely appear to enjoy working there.
Yeah, the salesman asked why I was going for the rx7700 and I said its in my budget but I wanted a 850 watt psu for future growth and a gen 4 m.2, he found me cheaper options but we kept what I wanted ie: 2tb gen4 ssd and a gold rated 850 watt psu. Upgraded to the 16g rx7800 because he took the time to find me another option and saved me a few bucks. I'd recommend them to anyone it was a very positive shopping experience.
Looks brilliant mate. Me and my son are about to build one
👍
