Man, this is how my buddy and I lowered his car back in the day. Of course, we didn't do the trick with the tires when taking the springs off the front shocks and we shot the retainer into the side of his car. Left a nice dent in it. :s
Damn makes me miss my old cressida. My plan was to lower it like that but ended up finding that there was ot of rust in the suspension area. Cant wait to see the wagon with some wheels on it!

What's your opinion on heating springs to lower? Not necessarily this car, but in general. Like, if you got those springs with the "pigtail" ends" that get small towards the mount? Of course, it's better to use legit springs, but for low budget shenanigans...? Great vid!!
