One of the things I appreciate about this SPECIFIC game in the series so much is that Dan if finally getting his time to shine with the voice work, we know Arin is great already but it’s so fun to see Dan getting all the odd ball voices and even MC voice, his kiyo kibo and miu voices are so fucking funny
This is the video that made me realize how on point the voices are for this playthrough. Not necessarily because they fit, but every single character between Dan and Arin have distinct and unique voices from each other, even the girls. That's pretty cool compared to the last two games.

I cant wait to see Arin get angry that he could have gotten literally hundreds of gifts instead of just 1 for Gonta. Theres a shop next to the cafe where you randomly get any gift for a single coin. That gourd he bought being one of them. I think the only unique item in the Casino is that love hotel key if im not mistaken.

Motives are all Monokuma has to force their hands. Not playing the game doesn't stop him as a new "class" of "ultimates" is easy to replace. The ultimate that gets replaced is by defacto the new "ultimate". Despair is all they need. Know thy enemy or at least their motivations.

And after also pressuring Arin to blow through the previous Free Time as well despite the aforementioned comment. I don't know a thing about this game, but I think it would be very funny and fitting if there was some kind of secret counter that keeps track of how many times the player agrees or disagrees with an NPC and that it actually affected their relationships in a positive or negative way. It'd be great if Arin spamming the "You're wrong" button over and over just made everyone hate him and put the game on hard mode.
Kokichi getting the Sonic voice and also being fast is too funny. 😂 Oh dear gods I just remembered Monokuma's feelings about Sonic. This playthrough is either too predictable or the guys are channeling their inner Hiro.
Neuromancer is a fun read. It feels worn out because so many sci-fi movies and games ripped it off over and over and over again, so reading it now feels like it's just a copy, but it's the OG, so still worth a read.
As excited as I was to see the Grumps actually get to know these characters through the free time sessions, did they really not look into the actual gift mechanic? There’s literally a room across the hall from the cafeteria where they can get gifts, but instead we choose the most convuluted way to get a single item. Can’t say I’m that surprised.
BTW!! u can go to the room in front of the dining room to play a gacha thing, I think it's 10 monocoins a pull, each pull can give you a random gift, so you don't have to keep going to the casino and spending thousands just for one gift!

@@Rose-wv4ez they did. in japanese he speaks just fine, but in the third person (something not uncommon in japanese, other characters like tenko do it too) + doesnt understand some things like slang or euphemisms or things that make sense to not know after being in the wild for 10 years (like knowing left from right). the decision to make him speak like that did him dirty indeed

I love how Arin is three games in and has already forgotten that you always get two FTEs per day AND the student store and the gacha machine.
I love how Dan was specifically told by Arin that they're supposed to do Free Time this time around and Dan just casually tells him to skip the second one. And after also pressuring Arin to blow through the previous Free Time as well despite the aforementioned comment. I know Arin didn't have another gift but they could have just cut out then cut back in once he had one. I have a feeling Dan might be getting some cranky e-mails lol.

I don't know a thing about this game, but I think it would be very funny and fitting if there was some kind of secret counter that keeps track of how many times the player agrees or disagrees with an NPC and that it actually affected their relationships in a positive or negative way. It'd be great if Arin spamming the "You're wrong" button over and over just made everyone hate him and put the game on hard mode.
